  1. Almost two weeks out and so far so good. I have a bad headache tonight, which I hardly ever get but if that is my biggest complaint today I am happy.
  2. 1oz Boston Market turkey breast and felt too stuffed to try my puree of spinach, ricotta, and a few grilled onions... maybe tomorrow
  3. Get some rest Vickie. I look forward to hear an update later in the next few days.
  4. Each day will get better. I am 10 days post op and I spent 6 hours at the office today. Just a week ago I could not have dreamed of feeling so much better that quick.
  5. How are you doing Vickie.. give us an update when you can.
  6. Well I am only a week and a half out and I spent 6 hours in the office today and another three hours on the computer at home. I am pretty beat but I was going crazy at home. Yesterday I got 59 grams of protein and am hoping to pass 60 today.
  7. Chicken that was cooked in a broth/cream of chicken mix. Blended(yeah I am in that stage) with a spoon if ricotta cheese.. it was really good and I have seven 1\4 cup bags of left over in the freezer.
  8. Luvindee.. my walking was pretty limited to around the house for the first week. My one week appointment was yesterday and I received the green light to start getting some protein in. My wife, daughter and I went for a walk last night and wewent about a mile. Definitely not a fast pace but my goal is to start getting in the habit of setting aside time to exercise for long term success.
  9. I just ate pureed chicken and green beans in a fat free cream of chicken/broth mix. Never thought I would say this but after 8 days of clear liquids....I loved it
  10. i think just sent an add invite. I am not good with technology.
  11. that is great. I wish I could skip stages.
  12. 28 pounds is great. Congrats and keep it up!
  13. Very interesting. They had ice chips for me as soon as I got from post-op to my room. I would just ask doc why he does not allow. It would help me knowing why he has me doing different things.
  14. You will do great! Just keep doing what they ask you. Walking post op can be your best friend. You can do this!
  15. One week appointment went well. I am about to have what seams like a feast to me. 1/4 cup of egg beaters
  16. I have my one week appointment and hope to get the green light to start getting some protein
  17. Keep it up Bowlinghooker!
  18. Congrats Jetson!!! Your almost there!
  19. Good luck this week Kelly.
  20. My doc allows drinking decaf. Now I just have to find one that is decent.
  21. Ellismom' scrambled eggs sound pretty good right now. Let me know how the one month appointment goes.
  22. Congrats on the mile. This is one of my NSV goals!
  23. I am ready for more calories. My surgeon allows 1/8 of a cup of clear juice mixed with an equal amount of water. Good news is I am having no issue getting my liquids every day. I just feel pretty tired with so few calories coming in. How are the other July post-op'ers doing?
