I don't know if it's possible to "tone" stretched out skin. You can build muscle to fill some of it out.
If you lose the weight that you want to lose, are you afraid you won't have the money for plastics down the road? Honestly, that is the only thing that is going to fix it. It's expensive and painful.
There are so many more benefits to losing the extra weight. Besides being so much healthier, I am so much happier in all areas of my life. I am going to be 62 in October and people tell me all the time that I look like I am in my 40's. whatever. I love being able to buy new clothes and look good in them and I really don't care what I look like naked. My man doesn't care either.

Yesterday I spent the morning cleaning my basement, then cut grass w/a push mower for three hours, then weeded my veggie garden, then walked my dogs, then made dinner on the grill. An ENTIRE day of nonstop activity without being winded, tired, or in pain! Life is good! :-)

I eat full fat cheese. I love it. For me the lower fat or no-fat options just don't cut it. So I eat it it rarely, but I love it when I eat it. SO worth it to have the real thing!!!!

I don't have hunger at all if I stay away from simple carbs. I have tons of energy and have since immediately following my surgery a year ago, probably because I'm eating better - lots of Protein and complex carbs. I lost a lot of hair but just went to a shorter hairstyle which I'm keeping short until the new growth catches up (I already have 2 inches of new growth). I found a Protein powder that cured my Constipation. I have never had a problem finding something to eat at any restaurant I go to, except the fast food places that have nothing but garbage. My boobs are pretty much gone but I had a bra fitting at Victoria's Secret and now know my correct size and what type of bra helps my girls look better. For every problem you mention there is a solution.
The key to happiness is always going to come from inside yourself - it's a positive attitude and outlook. Focus on positives, not negatives. It's harder for some people than others but with a conscious effort you can feel better about yourself and what you've accomplished so far. I'm sure there must be SOME improvement to your life since losing 50 pounds. It's still a lot of weight - I can't lift 50 pounds!

I have a TON of saggy skin!! Do I hate it? Well, its not appealing to me. On the other hand, saggy skin doesn't make my knees hurt when I go upstairs, or keep me from breathing regularly when I go for walks, or get in the way when I need to bend over for something. I mean, sure, it sounds like someone jumping on a waterbed when I do jumping jacks, but at least I can DO the jumping jacks!!

My husband has been unaffected by my journey at all. It is I who have benefited by HIS lifestyle. He has been heavily into body-building for about ten years now. His diet consists of lean Protein, veggies, whole grains, and Protein shakes and this is my life now, also. There is no more crap-food in my house (said crap used to belong to me). :-)

I don't miss being fat, but I can relate to the skin issue. I have wings and I am not interested in flying anytime soon. There are times when I just say, "hey, love me, talk about me or hate me, today, I'm gonna go sleeveless today." However, I'm not that confident when around work or family folk. I'm also not interested in more surgery when I reach goal...considering living with the skin issue but won't quite know until I get there.
Overall, I am extremely - ok, very happy with my choice. There are other mental issues that I go through that overrides the saggy skin thing right now.

There are a lot of factors in how saggy your skin might be or even if you'll have any at all. How heavy you are, how long you've been heavy, your age, genetics - lots of things can be different from person to person. I'm 55, had twins (at only 5' tall I was as big as a person carrying triplets), a few years later followed by an 10 1/2 pound baby, was overweight/obese for 28 years (since twin pregnancy), yo-yo dieted for years, and due to my age am losing elasticity which is normal. I expected to have loose skin and I do but it's not as bad as I feared. My insurance will pay for cosmetic surgery if I get rashes but this summer is the first summer that hasn't happened. If I was a much younger person I would seriously consider cosmetic surgery to correct the problem, regardless of cost. See where you end up. You may not have an issue at all. If you do, perhaps your medical team can help you document and qualify for cosmetic surgery. :-)

I had my lap to rny done there. They are the best. I had Dr. Kreuger, he is really great. I had my lap band done at Lahey Clinic and I wish I would have gone to Dr Kreuger to start off with. The whole staff from start to finish is great to work with. And they go out if their way to help.
