I have read a lot of posts from non-revision rny folks about throwing up and having food get stuck. Is this the same kind of thing that I experience nearly daily with my band? I don't want to live a life of getting stuck' date=' sliming, and puking with rny....is it different????[/quote']

Had my surgery on Monday. I like the feeling of not being hungry. But boy am I sore.

I had two psych evaluations that's just because im bipolar and the dr wanted to be sure I was ready

Good luck with all of it! I'm having RNY on Monday and am currently on my liquid diet which sucks.

I had bulimia and I was approved for surgery. I have to be very careful though. This pre diet has been extremely difficult for me.

I can't stand the Optifast diet. It doesn't feel me at all. I've been drinking a ton of Water to try to stay full

I just tried the Soups. Two bite and I about threw up. The are horrible also.. I guess I will only be doing the shakes and jello!!

Yeah the Soups are nasty. I can't eat them either

I just started mine today. Got all 3 flavors but haven't tried the chocolate. I'm soooo hungry and they taste nasty! lol

Yes same thing happens to me. Just make sure you're drinking plenty of Water that's what I'm doing. What day are you on? I'm on day 9 and it sucks. Lol

I started all of mine in September 2012 and my surgery is on February 25. So I had five months of waiting
