My doctor recommended no driving for a week and yes it was very helpful that ny husband was home . I had trouble getting out of bed , walking , and with him being there it helped alot. I had laparoscopic gb Jan 21 and I still till this day need help at times, make sure if you have an android download a free hourly chine so that you can eat and take meds etc on time. living4myself_gb1-21-13:- need easy chilli recipes and other soupy liquid food only
My nutritionist told decided I am allowed to have Beans but must be liquidity which I can add meats along to it but again must be consistent with a soupy and absolutely no texture . I also can have mashed potatoes but must be liquefied does anyone have any recipes? Is Wendy's Chili and KFC mashed potatoes liquefied enough or how can I make it soupy without ruining the flavor ?Is there any restaurant ideas or places I can try that is liquid that I can eat? Any ideas with this and tuna, chicken or seafood ideas that I can make soupy or runny as she said will help me please I'm 30 days post op and 38 lbs lighter 2 more months of liquid diet please help I need some flavor lol ....thanks in advance 1-21-13 368 lbs 30 days post op 330 lbs yay living4myself_gb1-21-13:- Vitimin D
My doctor has formulated his own brand of pills for gastric bypass patients per what my nutritionist told me today I'm 30 days post op and we are required to take at least 2k mg a day of calcium caltrate along with Iron and Multivitamins x2 a day , 80 g of Proteinex with a brand called New Life and Health that is exclusively sold at my doctors .I hope you get enough of what you need to avoid deficiencies. Good Luck hope this helps living4myself_gb1-21-13:- Whats that stuff?
If you can't afford Hibiscus soap my doctor also said its fine to use Dial Antibacterial the night before and the morning prior to surgery to cut down on infection rates etc. I would continue to use the antibacterial soap until you have the area healed. I am 31 days post op tomorrow and I continue to use Dial Antibacterial Soap for the area until it is properly healed which can take a month or two ....good luck living4myself_gb1-21-13: - 3 weeks out & STARVING
