  1. This week my stepdaughter told me she had a surprise for me. So she runs upstairs and grabs a pair of her size 10 jeans, runs back down and was like try them on! I said I don't think these will fit they are just too tiny. She kept saying try them on, you don't see that you really are that small :) so I hop in the bathroom thinking there is no way they will even fit around my thigh.....and then they did and they zipped and buttoned with no problems! She even gave them to me :)

  2. 1/2 cup black Beans with some cheddar and 1/4 of an avocado.

I usually have fish..which is good. But chicken has been making me sick. Not physically...its just when you have to chew it so much you really feel every bit of fat or whatever. I only do boneless/skinless breast....so it's pretty lean but sometimes there is a tough piece and it makes me want to hurl. Same with ground meat. Uck.

I have the same problem with chicken. Now I cut every last bit of anything off it before cooking. Such a waste sometimes.

  3. Just wanted to check in guys... Surgery date March 4th.... Since surgery 80lbs.... 144lbs total... I lost 64 lbs prior to surgery.... I have 62lbs until my personal goal weight.... I have noticed that when you log into MFP you can go back and see what you have done on previous days if you feel as if you are stalled.. I am still drinking a Protein Shake for breakfast and eating the Quest bars to reach my Protein goals..... Being about 5 months is this what the majority of everyone else doing? Or eating more protein through food? Curious to know.

I still drink protein shake for breakfast and either one for lunch or as a snack. It's the only way I can get the amount of protein in that my body needs to drop the weight. Great job on your loss! You can add me on MFP I'm KRaney73

  4. I was wondering if anyone else has this issue? When I get too hot I start to feel extremely nauseous. I have delayed starting a workout regimen because of this. It's not just once in awhile, it is literally anytime I feel hot. It happens even when i am in an air conditioned area. Did anyone else have this problem? If so did anything help you out? I am four months out.

  5. I take anti depressants as well. As far as right after surgery I was really bad at taking my pills. Once I got through some surgery complications and took them regularly I felt much better. I have actually decreased the amount of Trazadone I take, as well as came off of Wellbutrin all together. I am about 4 1/2 months out just to give you an idea. Hang in there. :)

  6. Me too! Wanted to make a box of angel hair parmesan Pasta sooooo bad! I keep looking at the box. Finally I just came upstairs away from food. I hate it when this happens! I know that if I made it id only be able to eat a little bit and would feel yucky. So then do I still crave it? UGH! frustrating!

I use Dreamfields pasta. I make a mean Cajun chicken Penne. I can't eat much of it, but it satisfies the craving and sits well in my pouch. :)

  7. Well this is the new me. I think I've lost almost all I'm going to without surgery. I'm happy w my weight - 135. I have started the head hunger about a month ago' date=' hate it. If I dare to eat too much I definitely dump, not fun.

Congrats all on your accomplishments and thank you for being here through all that I've went through and continue to go through in my personal life. I see no end w settling our estate w the ex. I'm totally stressed out everyday and its taking its toll on me. :-(

  8. Hi marchies hope everyone is doing well!! Question?? How many calories should we be eating at this point. Oh and loss 58 pounds so far!! Yay.

My doctor recommends for his patients to be at 1000-1200 calories this far out. I mostly get in between 600-800. I just can't seem to eat that much. I do get my Protein in 80-90 grams a day and less than 15 carbs a day. Hope that helps. Every doctor is different though so I would check with yours or your nutritionist.

  9. Crap! Now I'm concerned. I take 400 mg of trazadone at night to sleep and 60 mg of Cymbalta for anxiety and depression. I have no idea how I'll cope at all without the trazadone.

Surgery is next Wednesday (the 24th).

I was weaned off Wellbutrin xl as well. The lower dose of trazadone that I take still knocks me out like a light! It also keeps me asleep all night. After surgery I went back to my original dose and was basically asleep for 12+hours! I also have had trouble sleeping for over four years and been on trazadone that entire time. Now some nights I can even fall asleep without it. Just make sure you talk to your prescribing physician about your dosage after surgery. Good luck :) I'm sure everything will work out.

  10. So today I had my 3 month follow up (technically 4 months) :) The surgeon says everything is going great. My loss is looking good at 62lbs since preop diet. Surgery was march 14th. I have also just started experiencing Hair loss :( good thing I have a lot of it or I would probably be bald now! Also experiencing constant nausea when eating or drinking Anything. As well as loose stools many many times a day. They are checking me out for a bacterial infection which will hopefully turn out to be nothing. Just hoping they can figure out my nausea issues as well. Good luck to everyone else! :)
