  1. I had my surgery in March 2013. I decided only to tell my husband, my parents, and my stepdaughter. Everything went well...at first. Then complications arose and I was in icu for several days and then after a week out of the hospital I was back in for a leak for 16 more days. Needless to say people found out. Mostly because my mom who came to help out started posting crap on Facebook. Not everyone knew what surgery I had just that I had a surgery. Ultimately I have a handful of friends I told and a couple family members. Good luck to you whatever you may decide.

  2. I bought new bras from kohls tonight. I am now a 36 dd. No wonder the girls looked terrible I was still trying to wear my pre surgery bras of 42 dd. Pre surgery I had to buy an extender because I I couldnt handle going higher than that. Im hoping at the end of this journey to be a 32 d.

Lmao! Right now I am at a 32b ugh!!!! I love losing weight but not in my boobs!! Lol!

  3. Honestly I was hurting so bad I don't remember if it was a constant or off and on. I didn't feel like I had a fever at first but I ran a pretty high one in the hospital. I tried to suck up the pain for a few days and just take my pain meds, but it kept breaking through the meds. After one sleepless night I called my nurse practitioner. He said it was probably just residual pain from the surgery and it should get better. The next night the same thing. Couldn't sleep..so much pain, literally moaning myself to sleep and waking back up in pain. That morning I went to the ER. After all their tests I ended up in the hospital for 16 more days on tpn (iv nutrition) lots of pain meds, antibiotics for two entire weeks to get rid of the infection, and an accordion drain I even came home with. If I hadn't gone in when I did...well I don't know what would be. My thought process is this..if you think something is wrong it is best to get it checked.

  4. Congrats!! It is an awesome achievement. I am myself on 103lbs, but been here for awhile. I have another 15lbs to go to my goal weight, I am hoping I can do that in the next 3months. My optimal goal weight is about 30lbs away. Would you have ever thought that you would have been here a year ago?

Congratulations on your loss!!! Never ever ever ever would I have thought that I'd be like this today. What a great new life we have!

  5. Today officially marks 100 pounds lost. I should be jumping for joy. I waited for this day. I was so excited for it. I've spent the last four days at the hospital with one of my best friends while her father was dying. She is young, only 25. I'm more like her stepmother. She lived with my husband and myself for the last year. It just kills me to see her going through this pain. They had to remove him from life support. I'm just so drained and so sad that I just can't Celebrate this loss. :/
