  1. Being a past retail manager I know the company I was with and many others could not hire below age 18 do to labor law restrictions the company did not want to deal with. Since so many child labor laws differ by state there was no way to do hiring across the brand under 18. I wish her luck.

  2. I am so sorry you are going through this. I had my operation in march and suffered complications. Mine were a little different then yours. I had a leak where they sealed off my pouch and my old stomach. I initially was in the hospital for 5 days because I had low blood pressure and my blood counts were dropping. I went back in a week later because they didnt initially know I had a leak and ended up back in the hospital for 16 more days. I wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything for 14 days. I had iv fluids and tpn for nutrition. It was a really tough time in the hospital and when I came home for a month or so. As hard as it is hang in there they will figure it all out and get you all fixed up. Trust me I questioned what the heck I did to myself, I cried, I yelled, you name it. I am now 5 months out and feel great. I've lost 74lbs, and wear a size 6/8 now. Knowing what I know now, and being where I am now I would do it all over again even with the complications. Wishing you the best with your diagnosis and recovery.

  3. Went out to eat at Cheddar's tonight. This doesn't happen very often anymore. Ate 2/3 of 1 chicken tender, and about 1/4 of a house salad. Funny thing...when she brought my order I asked her for to go boxes, put most of the chicken in there, then my hubby tells me I think you should stop eating! I was like why? I barely had any! He said that's all the chicken you have left? There was like a piece and 1/2 left on my plate. I started laughing! Ya right, I packed it up already!! :)

  4. What kind of sauce did you use? I'm thinking of making pulled pork in the crockpot with a tenderloin but I'm finding that most sauces have a lot of sugar.

I made pulled pork yesterday. Made it in crockpot with diet root beer and Kraft light BBQ Sauce. It had the least amount of sugar. Cooked for about 8 hours in the root beer, 12 ounces for every 2lbs of meat, then after its soft, drain the root beer, then shred the meat. Added one bottle of Kraft light BBQ sauce and about 1/2 cup Water and cooked for additional hour on low. Loved it! Hubby loved it too!
