Hit my 6 month mark yesterday 86 lbs down, now off to get blood work... Hope all checks out there too!

I walked in the Color Run in Portland Oregon last Saturday!! My first one ever in my life!!! Went from a size 22 to 14 and I'm not done!!! Whoo HOO!!!!

Great job! There are many more Portland races/ walks ahead! Dropping sizes like that is wonderful!

That would be great! What works best for you! I generally work till 4pm and could do something in the evening or most weekends. Maybe meet up at a park or track for a little walking and talking!

What a small world I work in Donald, and I also had surgery at Kaiser on March 22. Sounds like you've had great progress. I've lost 65lbs so far. When is the color run?

I'm just south if Portland in Canby. Could always use a pal. Did the dirty girl mud run in June and plan to do the kiss me dirty 5k mud run on Sept 21 at the race way if your interested.

My favorite flavor is salted carmel, also like orange with vanilla shake taste like an orange creamsicle.

I didn't have a binder thingy either.. Just my skin and incisions!!! Bad news' date=' my dad is in the ICU, apparently he has a tear in his aorta, and they say operating is too dangerous... But leaving it to heal could also kill him if his Bp is too high.. I'm a nervous wreck and the first thing that came to mind was a big bowl of ice cream!! It finally dawned on me that I had indeed used food for comfort in the past! So instead, I just held my husband and kids and let the tears and emotions flow... 12 hour post op and all is well. Right now my biggest pain is sore throat due to tube in throat durning surgery. Walking the halls ice chips have kept me going. Start liquid diet in 5 hours. Thanks for the well wishes. Woke up in the or after surgery to the surgical team singing me happy birthday. They had decorated my chart and gown with birthday stickers. It was nice.

Really don't think it's fair that I have to go tomorrow to DMV to replace my license because it expires the day of surgery. Why couldn't it expire next year after the weight loss. Can't have that picture hanging around for the next 10 years. May have to loose my license next year:)

My referral was July 17, 2012 and my surgery is scheduled on March 22, 2013. I think it is a long time but I hear it's pretty fast for my program (kaiser)

Glad to hear it went well. 9 days to go till my surgery.

I got sick on Sunday' date=' had surgery on scheduled for Wed. My dr called in Avelox 400 mg and said to take it up ill the night before surgery, last dose at midnight. I was fine, I get really sick one time or twice a year and this one was bad! My primary didn't want me to not have the surgery. The surgeon was happy.

I'm a little nervous everyone in my family is now sick. I'm 10 days from surgery and afraid ill get sick too. Any suggestions to make sure I don't get sick and miss my date?

Not gonna lie...everyone that said they felt great can take a flying leap...I was violently ill and in indescribable pain for 7 hours...I am much better today but yeah...I was in tears and I'm very tough. That was just my experience and I'm sure that's rare...but I'm grateful it's over

Welcome I also have surgery on the 22nd. Which is my birthday so while there will not be a special meal or cake and ice cream. This is the best present I could get for myself and family. So enjoy your shake because it will lead to a wonderful gift.
