  1. Congratulations to everyone! I'm checking in and just so excited - I have actually not only reached my goal but passed it!! I'm now 118 and a size 2! Who would've thought? Even more exciting is I don't have a ton of loose skin- a lil in my face, but not a ton.while this journey started out pretty tough- not compared to some of you warriors- but so worth it! My husband is now inspired to work out- not liking the attention I seem to be getting now! Lol. It's great to hear the progress from so many familiar names!
  2. Th hair loss is getting out of control. I pray it stops soon. Prior to surgery I had hypothyroidism hair loss, and it was starting to come back and now this. Pretty soon, I won't have any hair left at all. I'm a MOH next month and I hope I have enough hair for the pictures. Next problem: what is everyone doing for breakfast? I drink my coffee, so I'm too full to eat, but am usually ready to eat an hour later, but I'm on the go by then. Aside, from protein bars/shakes, anyone have any suggestions?
  3. I am officially now only 2 ounces overweight! I am not yet at my goal weight as I have 12 pounds to go. I have lost 35 pounds. I had my surgery on 3/08. I was feeling down about the weight loss to that long ago and my sister in law remarked, " you have lost a small person!" It was then that I realized I was doing pretty great!

    Too Funny

Kids are so freakin funny!! My youngest (6) goes around saying "my mom had major surgery." When people ask why, my son (9) replies, "oh, she doesn't like to talk about it!." Lol he makes it sound so terminal. Haha

    March Surgery Dates

Good luck to all our end of the month Marchies. This is the last week and then we are all in the post op thread!! I wish you all nothing but a breezy recovery- dont snicker- many on the Losers bench had it pretty nice. I suffered a bit, but its all worth it. I pray for zero suffering:-) :-). There are going to be quite a few hotties in the very near future-male and female!!:-)
  6. Thanks, ElleG! Half my brain knows that, but the irrational side is poking fun at me. Lol. Thanks for your words!!
  7. Ok-I'm a lil freaked out. I lost 15 pounds first week and I have lost NOTHING the second week. Please tell me I didn't do this for nothing??!! I was at a wedding last night - the most beautiful food and drinks served all night. Of course, I ate the mashes potatoes and creamed spinach, but I forwent all the yummy goodness. Now, I'm wondering if I'm gong to be that one person that loses Nothing. I have no thyroid and wonder if its still wrecking my life! It's the reason I had surgery! I take my meds and my numbers are good.uggggghhhh. Feeling frustrated and a lil worried!
  8. Thanks! I'm leaving to get it now. Nausea and burping are terrible!!
  9. No! I wasn't told to. I'll try that. How long did your doctor say to do that?

  11. Ok, I'm now11 days post op. everything is fine EXCEPT I wake up with terrible nausea that lasts for hours. Sometimes protein helps, but it doesn't go away until afternoon. Not sure why, but feels like pregnancy all over again! I've already lived that 4 times, don't need to do that again! Is anyone else still battling nausea? Seems like the best cure is sleep, but I'm back at work and - ain't nobody got time for that! Lol. Anybody got any ideas? My surgeon just ki da nodded his sexy head and said its normal, but doesn't sound too normal since I can't find anyone experiencing the same thing! Help!
