  1. Mine is pretty intense tonight as well. The left front and back area. Feels good to lie on my right side, but can't do that all day! hope its done soon, so I can start enjoying this weight loss
  2. Fair day. Was nice so spent some time out in the fresh air, which felt good. Had some nauseau today and some pretty bad left side pain now as evening comes. I think when that pain goes away, things will be a lot better. I need to remember I had major surgery ONLY 5 days ago, and give myself time to heal! Just wanna lay down to get rid of the pain!
  3. Sounds good! I hit twoterville today!
  4. Everyone talks about onederland! What can we call getting under 300?? I have been waiting forever, and this morning I was 294. Could hardly believe it!
  5. I think everyone questions this decision at some point. The best thing you can do for yourself is to be informed! I read numerous books, researched websites, etc. I wanted to know what I was about to do to my body. I am day 4 post op and not regretting it at all! Best of luck to you, you can do this!
  6. Me either! My hubby was a Godsend this week! Better than I thought he could be!
  7. Mocha milkshake! So having that for breakfast! Yum
  8. First night at home was great!! Slept good and only had one dose of pain meds. My guts are rumbling with gas and boy does it feel good to get that all out! It is amazing how much better I feel each day! Good luck to everyone!
  9. Well, I made it! Not gonna lie, the first day after surgery kicked my butt! Slept good last night and am now having red jello and juice. Get a nice pureed lunch and then get to go home! Very excited to be in my own home, where I can recover. It does get easier every day!
  10. All checked in. Waiting for pre op stuff to start! Won't be long now! I'm about to puke!
  11. It's 1:35am and I have to be up at 4:00am to get ready. I knew I wouldn't sleep! Gonna be a LONG day........
  12. Too you as well BethAnn! Best wishes for a successful and pain free ( or at least low pain) day!
  13. Tomorrow is finally the big day! I have to be at the hospital by 7:30am. Am extremely anxious, and doubt if I will sleep at all.
  14. Seems to be more common than I thought! I was beginning to think I was being ungrateful for the gift in front of me! Best of luck to you!
  15. My surgery is on the 22nd. I have everything I need for the hospital and the first month or so at home. I have a great support system as well. I was so excited to get going, I even asked for an earlier date. All of a sudden today I started really second guessing my decision! I am not scared of the actual surgery at all, but I think I am of the life change. I love food, and have always been bigger, so I don't know anything else. I have some major back issues, and know this is what I need to do to be healthy. Am I crazy?? Anyone else have this little freak out??
  16. I got "the phone call" today as well! Arrive at 7:30am, surgery at 9:50am. Expected 2 1/2 hr surgery. Not scared but definitely anxious. Bring on Monday already!!
