  2. Thank you everyone for your comments. I was having a really bad couple of days but I am going to refocus and get back on track. I have come a long way and sometimes I forget that. It really helped reading all of your comments. I am going to take your advise and start logging my food again and definitely exercise more. This weight will come off! ????
  3. I had my surgery on 8/13/13. My highest weight was 319 in April of 2013. The day of surgery I was 287. I am now 227. I go for my 6 month check up on Wednesday and I am feeling like the biggest failure because I have only lost 15lbs since my last check up 3 months ago. I really feel like I should have lost more by now. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Maybe I'm eating too much. I didn't think my weight loss would slow down this much at 3 months out. It is very frustrating and I am feeling depressed about the whole thing.

  5. Congrats ChrisG that is so great! I wish I was that far too. I am doing good but maybe I could be doing better. Last April I was 319. Date if surgery I was 287 on 8/13. I am now at 226. I was hoping to be further along. Do you have any advise?
  6. I I've been stalled for a little over 2 weeks now and I'm wondering if there is anything I could do to get over this hump or should I just let it take its corse?

  8. So excited because I just went shopping for the first time since surgery. I bought a size 18 jeans and XL tops. I was in a 24 pant and 2/3xl depending in the top. I know I won't be in this size for long but needed some clothes and I'm happy with my progress! Surgery: 8/13/13 HW 319 SW 287 CW 245

  10. Hi everyone! Here are my stats... Surgery: 8/13/13 HW 319 SW 287 CW 251
  11. Thank you everyone. I use MFP mainly to track my Protein and I am getting between 800-1000 calories a day. Some days I do go over 1000 but it doesn't happen often. I just want to make sure I am doing things right because it's too easy to fall back into bad habits and choices. Surgery: 8/13/13 HW 319 SW 287 CW 251

  13. I am 10 weeks out a and wondering how many calories should I be getting a day? Surgery: 8/13/13 HW 319 SW 287 CW 258
  14. I took 6 weeks. My doctor had me approved to go back after 4 but I asked for an extension. I stand for 9 hours a day with barely any breaks. There was just no way I could do that after 4 weeks. I've been back to work for a little over a week now and feel fine. 6 weeks was perfect for me but I have friends that went back after 4 weeks because they sit at a desk all day and they were fine. Surgery: 8/13/13 HW 319 SW 287 CW 258
  15. I had the same problem in the beginning. I thought the surgery wasn't going to work or something. But I'm now 7 weeks out and def get the full feeling. It surprises me every time. I make sure I measure out my food to 4oz meals but most if the time I can't eat that in one sitting. Surgery: 8/13/13 HW 319 SW 287 CW 258
  16. I had surgery on 8/13/13. My highest weight was 319 back in April and my surgery weight was 287. Since April I have lost 56 lbs. I can't even believe it. Since surgery I have lost 24 lbs. i hit a stall these past 2 weeks but I think the number is finally moving again. I'll weigh myself in Monday. I was feeling kind if down about not losing but yesterday I found an old weight watcher booklet that had my recorded weight from back in 2010. I was 299 then. I am so grateful for this new tool and seeing that reminded me of the struggle I went through and how far I've come. I will not get down about stalls again. They are a pert of this journey and I need to remember that. I hope Everyone else is doing well! Surgery: 8/13/13 HW 319 SW 287 CW 265
  17. Ok so I know that stalls are normal. Mainly from reading different posts. I have not lost any weight in 2 weeks and it's driving me crazy. I am 6 weeks out and getting in my Protein and eating 600-700 calories a day. I am exercising a few times a week but taking it easy this week because I just started back to work. So I guess my question is how long will this last and am I doing something wrong? Surgery: 8/13/13 HW 319 SW 287 CW 265
  18. I had mine a few days after surgery too. I thought there was something wrong with me as well but I was fine. Everyone is different. It was all liquid until I started Protein and now that I'm five weeks out I sometimes go a couple days in a row then sometimes a couple days apart. Surgery: 8/13/13 HW 319 SW 287 CW 265
  19. I am 4 weeks post op and I don't really get that full feeling either. I usually just eat 4 oz and stop because I am afraid to get sick.
