Hi ! H.W 242 G.B 8/10-12 G.W. 150 I had my one year check up 16/10 and weigh in at 152:-D Hope I can maintain at 150 as I feel good,slim and fit,but still have curves. Hope I can have tymmu tuck and my upper arms done in the year to come. Big hug to y all!

Hi! I had gb last october and was told to wait 3 months before I could have a drink. So after 3 mnds I had 1/2 a glass of red wine,a small glass it was really just some sips, at home with my fiancee. I did not feel much and thinking I was ok I stood up from the sofa. I was drunk as a skunk! I walked in to the kitchen wall and was escorted back to the sofa. But it did not last long I got sober really fast to...... Try it out at home first,you dont know how you will react. Im almost 1 year out now,and I drink a glass of wine if we are eating out or saturday at home,I dont get drunk or sick. As long as you drink in moderation,it has a lot of calories too,I think it is ok. Big hug to you all!

Hi! I have the same problems! I used to have nice,curly very easy going long hair... I am 9 mnd out and now it is much thinner and frizzier,I have started to blow dry away all my belowed curls in order to get the frizz under control... I was just thinking about this last evening,I trust my hairdresser,she knows me very well,I will have to ask her,I am thinking of a nice bob too... I really hope our good hair days comes back to us ! My hw was 242,cw 158;size 10;-) Big hug!

Hei! My hw was 242 and I am 5.7. My doc wanted me to do RNY,so I did last october:-) I am 158 now,very happy I did it. Have yoy had acid problems,heartburn? I had bad acid problems and my doc said doing a sleeve,witch I originally was looking in to,would make it worse. I have seen people with sleewe loose their excess weight really,really fast:-) But I have been told RNY people do better in the long run... My hospital do not do banding anymore,to many problems and to less weightloss. You doc must consider whath you want to,I really think! Hope everything falls in to place for you! Big hug !

Hi Casey and you all! It is the most painful thing when you children wants to do things together with you but you know that you dont have the energy to do whath they want! I have to girls 10/12 and they were begging me to go bicycling/skiing and playing in the pool with them;omg felt like the worst mun ever... I had gastric bypass last october,and now I am a heakthy size 10:-) This is the best thing I have ever done! I am healthier,much happier,confident and much more axtive! I go skiing with the girls,I have just got a bike from my mom and cannot wait til our trip to Spain this summer,I will swim,dive and play un the pool all day,and see the joy in my girls eyes! This is why we have surgery,a better life for all the family! I have kept my best friends and even got som really nice new ones because I am happier and more outgoing;-) Just one distant friend have been angry and a bit bitchy with me,and yes you guessed it:she is very overweight... Good luck to you all and lets keep up the good work;lets get he a better life! Big hug from me in Norway!

My doc did not give me a goal weight,but he would be happy if 80-90 % of the overweight is gone. I think I am 5.7 feet ( 170 cm) and 158 pound now,had gb last october. I love the way I look now,and feel healthy,so happy to be in the "normal " range. The importent thing is to get well and healthy and feel good about how we look and feel confident. The number at the scale is just a number,look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself how you feel,it have to feel right to you. Big hug to you all,and lets keep up the good work!

Lol!Have never seen anyone eat or drink fast food or fizzy drink when I go to pre op and post op classes in Norway! This folks are not ready for this big changes....

I love my arms getting smaller,I can wear tailord jackets now and dont mind if anyone sees my arms,used to cover them up... I went shopping for my skiing outfit in the woman section and I looked like a fit women wearing it! This summer we are going to Italy and I will wear a bikini!

I had my gb 8/10-12 and have had several attacs like yours,have been crawling at ER floor at night. Now I have pain under my ribs and in my back and sometimes between my shoulders. I go to the hospital 5/4 and have my gallbladder removed. Really looking forward to having it removed,the gallbladder got inflamated and have been taking antibiotics for 10 days now. Hope you recover and have the removal soon. Big hug!

A few weeks after my gb my 12 year old and her class saw the film Supersize me. They did show a gb;and my girl cried out: My mam has done dath surgery! The whole town knows now! I am fine,it does not bother me,it was the best thing I have ever done. I tell people if they ask how I lost the pounds. Some people just look suprised when they have only seen me as big and now they see a completely different girl! Lol,its funny!
