I have been banded for 1 year, without the band I honestly can say I could'nt do it on my own. With me the good thing is you want over eat your band want let you. I also tried every diet in the book, this was the best money I ever spent. I am self pay also.

Staci, if you are self pay I'm sure you will get your band. Where are you having it done?

I have had 3 fills. I've been banded 1 year.

My doctor told me its meant to be a life time thing.

I'm cold all the time to. For me my hands and feet!

Hi I have been banded almost 1 year. I have 2cc in my 4cc band.

A lot of what you may be experiencing is gas pain. Some people have a good bit of it and some don't. I was one of the lucky ones that did'nt. It will soon disapear. Good Luck!

My daughter-N- law had the very same thing hers lasted about 2 weeks. All of this is gas. It will soon pass. If you move around some this will really help.

If she is a US resident and has a vaid driver licence(USA) she should have no trouble crossing over into Mexico. I was banded in Aquna Mexico {Not sure of spelling} Ha! I only had my drivers licence. Make sure you check into it first.

Hi, I have had my band for almost a year. This is one of the best things I could have spent my money on. I am also self pay. I have losted 70 lbs and feel great. I'm 3 lbs from my goal. You will learn in time what you can eat and can't that comes with experence. Good Luck to you! ~Betty
