  1. 35 minutes of cardio kickboxing. My hips hurt from the double side kicks lol.
  2. The filling is a weight watchers recipe that I've used for years. I brown ground chicken in a nonstick pan with a chopped onion and a few cloves of garlic, seasoned with salt, pepper, cumin and chili powder. Once browned add a jar of your favorite salsa. It is about 80 calories for 1/4 cup and its so yummy. I had I/4 cup in a lettuce leaf with chopped tomatoes, avocados, 1 Tb reduced fat cheese and 1 Tb of plain nonfat Greek yogurt. I also had 1/4 cup of vegetarian refried beans with 1 Tb reduced fat cheese and 1 Tb of the yogurt. 199 calories, 20 grams of protein.
  3. Lol sure. There's enough here to feed an army.
  4. Taco night! Made with ground chicken spiced with cumin and chili powder and mixed with salsa, wrapped in a romaine lettuce leaf instead of a tortilla, avocado, tomatoes, onions, low fat cheese and a tablespoon of plain Greek yogurt.
  5. My nut warned against going back to liquids. I'm trying to eat more calorically dense foods to get my calories up, not trying to eat less.
  6. 35 minutes of kickboxing with my Wii Fit 6 game. Best $4 I have ever spent
  7. My nut wants my calories to be at 1200 at the 6 month mark. I barely get 700 in. I have very little appetite and food isn't too appealing. Plus I've stalled for the last week.
  8. I do a lot of tuna and eggs. I'm starting to cook again, and I really enjoy the challenge of making our favorite foods wls-friendly.
  9. How on earth are you getting 800-1000 calories in? I can barely get 600-700 especially trying to get all my fluid in.
  10. I drink decaf hot tea all day long. I have trouble with plain water but I can get fluids in with tea. I can only manage a half cup of decaf coffee.
  11. Surgery date: 11/26/12 SW: 334 CW: 286 Total weight lost: 48 lbs.
  12. I have very low blood pressure.
  13. They are from my area too. I got hooked on them in high school, a long time ago.
  14. Oh...I work out to ICP. Don't laugh too hard. I know they are offensive but it cracks me up lol.
  15. I just downloaded an app called TrailMix onto my iPhone. It chooses music from your library based on the pace you are biking, running or walking. I really like it.
  16. Hot shower. I do have low blood sugar, which is why I ate about a half hour after walking...23 grams of Protein. It was so weird. I got dizzy one other time standing up too fast tonight but other than that feel fine. I had had an 8 oz Protein shake an hour before the walk and drank a bottle of Water during bi tend to be on the dehydrated side (I hate to sip all day) so I wonder if it was the combination of low blood sugar and dehydration.
  17. 3 chicken breasts sautéed in 1 tsp olive oil, seasoned with salt and pepper 2 packages of frozen cauliflower, boiled until tender then chopped (I pulsed it in the food processor), seasoned with salt and pepper 1 package frozen broccoli pieces, blanched in boiling Water 1 can 98% fat free cream of mushroom Soup 1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt 2 TB Hellmans light mayo 1 tsp garlic powder 2 cups of shredded low fat sharp cheddar cheese Mix soup, yogurt, mayo, and garlic powder. Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Layer cauliflower, chicken, broccoli, sauce and cheese. Bake in 350 oven for 30. I attached the stats for 1/9 of the pan. I can't manage quite that, but a half cup is just a bit shy.
  18. I made a chicken and broccoli casserole with finely chopped cauliflower instead of rice. I also used the almost fat free cream of mushroom soup and mixed it with Greek yogurt. 224 calories, 23 grams of protein. It was so good.
  19. Has anyone passed out after exercising? I walked for 50 minutes, went about three miles. Came home, cooled down and ate lunch. Then I took a shower where I got so dizzy I sat down once and fell once. I have a giant welt from hitting the faucet. I made it out of the shower and stumbled to lay down in bed where I passed out for an hour. Is this totally weird? I posted this in the Nov 2012 postop thread too.

  21. You look fabulous...great job!
  22. Okay be honest. I'm down 43 pounds and I barely see a difference in my face. My daughter says I'm too hard on myself. (Also sorry about our crazy pic. There aren't too many of me pre surgery).
  23. Crab and asiago egg casserole from the Bariatric Foodie website. It was insanely good. 22 grams of protein.
  24. I could barely move yesterday. But I did it and ill do it again today. Jillian Michaels is evil lol.
