  1. Old Hippie Gal, I think those frozen meals are a bunch of processed food with little nutritional value. Lean meats and fresh veggies would probably be a better option. I'm sure your surgeon wants you to watch portion size. Day 3 of all liquid diet for me! I lost 5 pounds in the first 2 days. Hopefully my liver is shrinking away for easy surgery.
  2. Praying for you Southern Gal! Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  3. My approval was quick, painless, and everything went through. Whew!
  4. Yup! I can't even imagine buying cute clothes that I actually like, not just tolerate. Whoo Hoo!
  5. Maybe go back to Clear liquids until you feel better. Good luck.
  6. Yeah for you! Relax, enjoy your holidays and Feb. will be here soon!
  7. Vicki, Let us know how you are doing when you get a chance. Praying for you!
  8. Hey Tina Bree, How is your exercise Quest going? Keep at it! Even if it is 10 minutes a day. Be like Nike... Just Do It!!
  9. Didn't do organized exercise today, but took the stairs several times in effort to squeeze in some exercise. I'm trying to find a used treadmill so I can get up and jog in the mornings while my son is still sleeping. I want to start yoga as well. You've inspired me to get back into it!
  10. 6 would be amazing! I'm excited to look good in clothes instead just buying whatever fits.
  11. Thinking about you that have had your surgery already. Praying for speedy recoveries. The ones that are getting ready, good luck! And for those of us that have a couple of weeks until surgery... Wish us patience and luck with this liquid diet!!!
  12. I wonder if you would have quicker results if your surgeons office contacted them? I did not have any contact with BC/BS. My surgeons office did it all. I was approved in 2 weeks to the day of the submission for approval. good Luck.
  13. I'm going to try that tomorrow. Thanks.
  14. My surgeon doesn't allow any foods other than the opti fast shakes and soups. Day 2... Done. It wasn't so bad today. Having the soup to look forward to for dinner was a nice treat. It's made me realize how much of my life has been centered on food or meals. Now I'm focusing on activities instead. It's hard, for sure, but I am determined to stick to it. I always, always cheat on diets. I want this to be the one I follow through on.
  15. Hmm... It's so hard to think of being fit. Exciting stuff... I would love to be an 8. Fit, healthy, fun!
  16. Vicki, I can feel your disappointment through the Internet. Keep going forward! You have to. I am praying for you!
  17. Oh Lawd... I just started the 2 week opti fast diet. I'm going to need support to make it through these 2 weeks! Day 1.. Done. Anyone else doing liquid diets right now?
  18. Praying all went well today. Let us know how you feel when you get a chance.
