I had hummus this week. I am 11 days post op. I made it on all liquid for 3 1/2 weeks, then my body demanded food? Avocados would be so yum!!

I haven't enjoyed anything, but Water. I keep trying sugar free this or that. It all tastes like crappola. Lucky foe me I am loving water!

Lola!! So glad everything went well. It is uncomfortable, but you will do great! Hang in there, the first couple of days... Not much fun, but it gets better everyday! -

Hey Gen, Weren't you the one who said you got sick off of crystal light? Oh Lawd... I decided to switch up on my water and make so e crystal light. I drank about 12 oz. trying to get in all my fluids. I got a case a nausea and headache and I really didn't like it. Guess its good ol H2O for me! -

Ooh... I had a room to myself and that wonderful pain pump. I pushed every 10 minutes surgery day and night and slept great. So sorry some of you are not getting good care. Home is coming up!

I think it is a taste preference. Also make sure the Protein is high, but sugars are low.

I feel really great one week post op except for a sharp pain on left side, under the ribs. It only hurts with movement. I vaguely remember the doc saying it would hurt... But I can't remember why. And more importantly, when it goes away?
