  14. Made it through baron baptiste power yoga. Best form yet!
  15. Hope things get better for you real soon.
  16. And by the way, I had gout too!!!!! That was worse than surgery, lol. Won't miss gout, already off my gout meds
  17. My dr. Told me I could smoke pot about 4 weeks after surgery. Said I would not be at anymore risk. Of negative effects than someone who's never had the surgery, pot is only toxic to your lungs when smoked. The morphine, Percocet, and even acetometiphen you've taking are more toxic to your organs than pot. I've resumed pot. I am not a doctor or recommend any one else smoke the herb .
  18. You have to get most other surgeries. But yes, when they remove your gall bladder it always works. Lol
  19. I think they want to make sure it's a sound investment from their standpoint, it costs like $40,000. They want to make sure you have a good chance at success. When successful? They are saving $100,000's down the road from quadruple bypass, diabetic amputation, and stroke treatments, not to mention the cost of medications, etc. yep, they're for-profit, not kindness.
  20. Walking really helped get the gas out for me
  21. I am 1 week post op down 20 pounds. I was afraid of food for this week and especially bacon! Being the cook for the family, I finally made and egg bake for dinner and didn't even chew and spit out a morsel! Lol. Nope. just smelled and walked away. Now I now I am over food. No need to fear. Haha
  22. How long until you were cleared to jog? Also, I plan on doing yoga as well. Any idea on how long I may have to wait for each?
  23. Yeah Pittguy. Had surgery on Tuesday and feeling very well. The whole staff was awesome. If you have any ?'s, please don't hesitate to ask.
  24. 2 weeks? 3 weeks? 4 weeks? Just curious. I am down 25 pounds since the beginning of liquid diet June 9.
