  1. I'm having the same problem...eat because I have to but nothing sounds or tastes good which is good but hate the nausea
  2. My surgeon said NO pop. Stretches the pouch ...I quit about a month before pre-op and scared to try them!
  3. I beat myself up ALOT...embarrassed that I used food to cope with depression, childhood and marital traumas... I hate that I didn't have the willpower to make the changes on my own... so I completely understand! Surgery 10-2...down 42 pounds and feel good but definitely have those up and down days. No regrets but fighting depression... I lost my best friend ...food hang in there and thanks for posting this!
  4. We had surgery same day and I'm down 33! It is best feeling ever... so happy for you!!

  6. I had surgery Oct 2 and I think I'm over excited for this weight to be gone! Vent away!!
  7. I'm 3 weeks post op and I'm nauseated most of the time. Just thought it was part of the process
  8. Had SF hot cocoa tonight. Only had a few sips...went down easy and was really good!
  9. Had stones prior to surgery but extremely painful. I'm sorry your going through this...
  10. I'm an open book and I am afraid of failing.... I answer people honestly and a couple of co-workers stated that they were worried but now see that even with only a 30 pound lose at this point that I am happier and feeling better! I've been surprised that the people that are considering surgery... no regrets!
  11. Weighed tonight.... lost 30 pounds and surgery was 3 weeks ago t'mrw! I don't know if this is just average but I'm beginning to feel so much better! Finally feel like I can do this! 
  12. My Dr says no more than 15 carbs and no more than 5 fat grams.. told me to always r'ber 15/5...
  13. I have alot of beans...refried with low fat cheese is on my suggested menu. Been eating alot of special-k protein plus cereal which is also on my 4 week post op menu and it is really good 
  14. I noticed a big difference about 5 days post op...
  15. I took off 7 days and I'm a teacher. I tire very easy now but wish I would of taken another week off. Surgery was 10/2
  16. Has anyone experienced the "dumping" after eating the wrong thing or to much? That's what my doctor calls it. I'm terrified to get sick so I'm very careful but the classes I attended said everyone would experience it 
  17. Surgery Oct. 2...ready to try meat but scared! Still on mush foods ..Dr has me on mush until 4 weeks post op
