  1. Hello! I got my surgery date for February 28th with Dr. Eid at Magee Womens. I have my pre-op appt scheduled for tomorrow at 10:30. Anyone know what all goes on during that? The assistant told me its a long appt....about 4 hours.

Pretty much talk to you about what is going to happen on surgery day. What food you will eat right out of surgery. Protein. Vitamins. Taking time off work. They make sure you have all of you pre op test finish and answer all questions. I was in with a group of two other ladies. Pretty much a informational meeting.

  2. So it has been 15 weeks since my surgery. I had my surgery on Nov 2nd. My weight on surgery day was 243 with my highest weight being 253. Today I am at 181. I am feeling so good! I finally ran out of any clothes that use to fit me including pants that I have saved throughout the year! I am down to what I was in high school when I graduated in 2007. I can't weight to get where I wanna be. It is a lot harder than each day you go, but I love the challenge.

  3. I am taking birth control pills. Started taking them a week ago. When I take them my pouch just doesn't agree and I feel sick all day. Can't eat or drink at all without getting close to throwing up. What other options do you ladies recommend for birth control besides the pill.

  4. I went and had my appointment with Dave. He gave me the little quiz. And I answered them. Got some correct got some wrong. I didn't even know about the little quiz. He pretty much went through all the questions with you. Nothing to be worried about at all.

  5. I am 5'4". I don't know what size I would want to be but I know my goal weight is 120-125. I am at 204 now. When I was skinny I always had a butt, so I am sure that will stay with my luck. Boobs are getting smaller which I can deal with. They weren't that big in the first place but a pain working out. Lol. I want to be really toned. As toned as I can get. My goal is not to have to get any surgery to fix anything. Being 23 I hope my skin stretches back as much as it can but my skin loves stretch marks so who the heck knows if that will happen much! Nov. 2nd was my surgery. Once tax time comes I am signing up for my gym membership (since my brother just closed his which I was on :( ) and working hard!
