  2. Yeah, I was orginally going to get the sleeve but you cannot undoe the sleeve; they totally remove the stomach.... You can put the stomach back together with the bypass. Not easy but can be done...
  3. My Dr. said I could only eat about 1500 calories per day two weeks leading up to surgery on Nov. 20. I have pre-op this Thursday the 15th and I know he will say all liquids until surgery. I just want it over with....
  4. OMG! I just had an email sent to me of a group picture from November 1, 2012 and I look terrible. I HATE MY PICTURES TAKEN OF ME. I WANT THIS FREAKIN SURGERY SO BAD........ I hate looking at myself in pictures, mirrors, reflections, etc....... There, I'm finished.....

  6. Approved on November 1 (Saved the VM from Ins) Scheduled Surgery on November 5 (With Dr) PRE-OP Testing on November 15 Surgery on November 20 Hopefully Home on Thanksgiving Day on November 22
  7. Well, I got a call from my DR yesterday and got my surgery date. Pre-Op is Thursday, Nov. 15 and my SURGERY is Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012. I CANNOT WAIT. NOW, I am nervous.....
  8. Well, this is the first opportunity I have had to write but I got a voice mail from my insurance company letting me know that I was approved for my surgery. YAY! I immediately called my doctor to schedule and left a message on Thursday but have not heard back from them as of yet. But hey, at least I have been approved. Hoping for surgery in the next 2 weeks... Wish me luck!

  13. Well, my surgeon's office called and said she has everything and everything was sent to insurance today for final approval. She also said it should take no more than a week, maybe 4 days. If approved, I could be having surgery by last part of October/ first of November. It's getting closer...

  15. I want to know how long you have to wait after surgery before you can start fooling around...? A much needed and valid question...

    That is a great question. I would like to know as well. I have a huge hot tub outside that will be dying to have me get in. Lot's of excercises you can do in the "hot tub." LOL
  17. Well, I had the scope and some final blood work finished yesterday. I have a final appointment with the primary doctor to release me for surgery. Hopefully the final approval will be soon... The doctor is shooting end of October of first of November...

  19. Well, what can I say. I am 40 y/o and live outside of Louisville, KY. Over the last 3 months, I have been working on getting approved for bypass. I have basically completed everything needed. I saw the surgeon today and wants a scope completed tomorrow. Surgery looks to he sometime soon...
