  3. Well, I ditched the old surgeon and found a new one and have already got all my tests scheduled to be completed by Nov 15 which is when my last pcp weight management visit is!!! I am so thrilled!! The first set of surgeons hasn't yet contacted me to schedule anything!! I have already met my new surgeon and when I told him about the others, he said he has heard that before about them!! I really am excited now!! I was getting pretty down. Thanks for all your replies:)
  4. Hi, I am new. I started this journey on Sept. 6, when I went the the initial seminar. Since then, the only appointments I have been able to get from my surgical group is the initial consult with the PA, and the group session with the Nut. I will be done with my 6 months of supervised weight loss with my doctor by November 16th. I am wanting to get the surgery done this year, but it seems that the surgeons are dragging their feet. Any one else had this problem? Thanks!
  5. I am also 53 and just starting.
