  3. So I wanted to finally post a before and after photo of the weight loss I've lost since surgery. The first photo I am on the in the stripped black shirt ( the biggest girl in the photo) and that picture was two days before I had surgery on January 22. Second photo is from today. So happy so far!
  4. Well I don't really wanna call my surgeon on primary doctor because I just recently moved an hour away from both of them. I haven't had a chance to get a new doctor up here yet
  5. I had surgery in January and I've been Doing great however today I am very very weak and have a bad headache and had a couple dizzy spells. I am having trouble writing this because my arms feel so weak. Is this normal
  6. Is it possible to have a gallstone attack two months after surgery. I had an attack in November and around 4pm today I started experiencing a lot of pain on my right side and I'm really nauseas just like before... urg.
  7. I'm on depo and for the most part I like it. I'm getting my next shot for it next week and usually when I first get the shot I got bad stomach cramps for a couple days but that's it. I had rny on January 22
  8. Last night and today I've had such a horrible headache. I had rny jan 22. medicine isn't relieving my headache.
  9. Well I have to say I lost 20 pre op and the rest post op. I think pre op I lost weight quickly because I cut out almost all sugar and soda and bread and only drank water. I am at a stall right now, I haven't lost anything in a week.
  10. So I lived in Kansas and moved home in November when I started the wls process. The blue license is my biggest ( jan 2012) other photo is from today. I had rny on January 22. Can't believe the difference in photos. Started at 280 lbs. today I am 220 so 60 pounds so far
  11. Had surgery 1-22-13 at 254 and I'm 225 now. When I started this process in November I was 280. So in total I have lost 55 pounds.

  13. I guess my only tip is follow ur doctors rules. There in place for a reason. My biggest challenge right now is head hunger. I'm physically never hungry and most cases don't feel full. Mentally prepare for that. Don't give in to the head hunger.
  14. I started this process at 280 pounds in November. I had surgery January 22 weighing in at 254. Today I am 3 weeks 1 day and I weight 225! I am so excited!
  15. It looks swollen. I don't think it's gas. It burns even lightly touching the area.
  16. I went to bed last night and shortly after I got this really bad sharp burning intense pain underneath my lower right incision and the pain hasn't gone away. The more I move the worse the pain gets. I'm three weeks out. Is this normal?

  18. My doctor only told me nothing more than 5 pounds for a week and than go back to normal. My son is 22 months old and weighs 35 pounds and I've been carrying/picking him up since after the first week. My right side of my stomach gets really bad pain if i move the wrong way or turn over. It's like a intense burning stinging sensation. I assume its my muscle healing. How long till that's gone?
  19. That's what my nut said. I've had it happen once or twice now.
  20. I was told that some people get runny noses when they get full. That its there bodies way of saying your done.
  21. I'm in the soft food phase and were wondering about pickles. Are we allowed to have them?
  22. Any experience dehydration early on post op? I'm 10 days out and I don't feel well at all and can barely drink or eat. I'm worried I'm gonna get dyhydrated
  23. This morning I noticed I was sore and as the day went on the pain got worse and than my hand started to feel cold and fingers were feeling funny. I knew something wasn't right.
  24. So I'm 9 days post op and today I went to my doctor because I have a blood clot on my forearm, which they think is from my Iv. Hurts so badly. The doctor said its superficial, which is good because it won't travel. Has anyone else experience this?
