  2. Just got my surgery date!!! January 22 will be the start of my new life!!!!
  3. My problem is I just got my shot this month and he wants me off it for surgery but it will still be in my system for surgery. Im due for next shot in march but I'm having surgery in february.
  4. My surgeon is performing an EGD in January before I have surgery in February.
  5. So I found out today that my insurance approved surgery and looks like surgery will be the first week of February! I'm excited but nervous because I need to lose 14 pounds before surgery date and it's been a little less than a month and I've lost 5 pounds so far and I'm worried I won't loss the rest before surgery. Some people have said when i do my 2 week preop diet I will be shocked at how much I loss. Idk if there right.

  7. I told my best friend that I was gonna have surgery and her response was " I've never not seen you as a big girl. I don't know what I'm gonna think of you as not fat". Than she proceeded to tell me that when I was pregnant that I didn't look pregnant.just looked really fat
  8. So I meet my surgeon today and he told me I have to stop my birth control for surgery. I'm currently on depo. Any idea why I have to stop my birth control?

  10. So it looks like I will be having surgery in February! I wanted to share my excitement in the amount of weight I've been able to loose in the last 4 weeks because it's the most I've been able to loose in a very long time. I weighed 280 almost 4 weeks ago and as of today I weigh 268. This is the smallest I've been in 18+ months. By surgery I need to weigh 257 and a small part of me is nerves I wont get to that weight because the 12 pounds I've already loss is the most I've been able to loss on a diet before.

  12. Hello. I am just starting my 3 month pre-op education before I can have surgery. I wanted to know what type of diet and what foods the nutritionist are telling people. I find out this week when my first appointment is. Any info would be great! Thanks!!!
  13. I registered for an informational night for weight loss surgery at the end of this month ( October) and I'm not really sure how long the process takes to actually get approved and get a surgery date and wanted to know if anyone had gotten it done at LVH and what there experience was.
