Congrats and welcome, I wish I could wear hills I have plantar fascitis which is a very painful foot condition.

My dr. office yold me a couple of weeks also and it was about a week and a half, so thst sounds bout rite.

My surgery 10/08 and time seems like its goin so slowly I really jus wanna get this optifast done and over with, next month will be so hard but I kno I can do it, its jus the waiting got me goin crazy. Im so reay for this surgery

And they usually dont do anything til they kno ur approved. Cuz it really would b a waste jus incase for sum reason they say no, but we will be praying they say yes rite.

That all depends on when they can get u in for surgery.

Ok so im a single parent on two kids 12 and 7 boy and girl and I start my Optifast Sept 8th and im concerned about making meals for them during this time and aftet surgery. I kno I have to be strong and I have my faith, any tips.

How long do u stay in the hospital I was told the norm was up to 3 days, also how long after the op can u go back to work, whats the recovery time once ur home.

I also got sum protien bars and powder and OMGosh it takes every thing in me to get them down.

So I started taking Bioten and B12 I also take vitamin D pills, what is a good multi vitamin and is there any others I should start taking. Oh and I mite need a iron pill is the iron levels in multi vitamin pretty decent?

My surgery is 10-08-12 and I started on shakes and taken vitamins to get a head start, really to get me in a routine of taking those pills and most def get use to shakes cuz they can b hard to get down.

I would say have him there, but that means the kids also right or is there gonna b sum1 watching them? If not I say it can b done alone if need be but its always good to have sum1 with u. If he dont go with u he could always bring the kids up later n da day to c u.

I started my six months last Oct I got approved the sec week of July and my Dr. gave me first appt with the 4 week time period I need 4 Optifast my surg date is Oct 8th and the time is dragging.

OMGosh I kno what ur goin thru, I 2 also had to do the 6months and I started my journey last October and I was sure that I would have had my surgery by now but im still waiting. Oct 8th is the big day but I start the dreaded liquid diet next month and I gotta do 4 weeks thats what im scared about.

Yes I have so many emotions about the liquid diet, I cant wait to start it but im terrified at the same time, terrified I will fail, but I kno I have to be strong and im so happy that I found this group.
