  5. Oh so needless to say I am trying to start a liquid diet again because I have until the 16th to lose the other 9 pounds
  6. Some insurance companies require you to lose a percentage during the 6 months. I also know that some have been denied by insurance and doctors because they have gained weight over the 6 month time. My doctor told me he wanted me to lose 10 pounds and that's on top of the 8 almost 9 pounds I have lost last month. I started out at 287 now at 273 he wants me at 264
  7. LUCKY!! I haven't had one yet wish I could help. Good luck and afterwards you can inform us
  8. I am 43 and only thing I have noticed so far is I can cry at the drop of a hat. Monthly is still on time and the same but there are a couple months I might have one like every 2 weeks. So I think those are signs too

  13. Jerrie are you sure those weren't hypoglycemic episodes? But I can't stand the heat now even in dead of winter my window is wide open and a fan sitting in it. Because of this my husband has been sleeping on the couch for years now lol
  14. Most all have had to do 6 months. I am on my last month now. The diet my nutritionist put me on was a 1500 calorie diet and also the exercise pysiologist put me on an exercise program to walk at least 30 minutes a day and do resistant bands 2 times a week. During those 6 months I also had to have a EKG. ,endoscopy, pulmonary function test, and blood work. Each surgeon is different in the test they need you to do

  19. I had to be on a pre surgery diet the whole 6 months. I just had to eat under 1500 calories a day. I will have to do a week liquid diet prior to surgery if I ever get a date
  20. I have tried going a day on a liquid diet and get then about 3-4 pm I feel my sugar drop. I feel like I am losing control I feel panicky and can't concentrate I feel sweaty and like my heart is racing. I finally told the NP and plan to tell my pcp Thursday. I am just worried about doing the liquid diet and feeling that way
  21. I didn't have to have a letter from pcp I did all 6 months at the weight loss center. I knew that would be nest because they know exactly what the insurance company would need
  22. Uhm it could be nothing to do with you but him. My husband is 50 and was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate a few months ago and so to have sex he needs the little blue pill now. Your bf may be embarrassed so he chooses not to all the time because of this. Signs of it were he was going pee all the time waking up middle of the night to go then one day we tried and no getting it up
  23. I understand completely!! I have researched and wanted this surgery for 10 years now and finally had insurance this year that covers it. And just now October 4 will make my final weigh in before approval which I had to do 6 months but consecutive so really 7
  24. Those that were diabetic or has hypoglycemia how did you do on the pre surgery liquid diet? And what did you have and time.schedule to avoid low blood sugar drops?
