  1. Try using a meat tenderizer hammer on it. Then dip it in egg with Dijon musturd roll it in a little flour and bake. It is a lot tender that way
  2. I always enjoy hearing from you!! You are always encouraging in your post to me. Please don't take a break!!
  3. Not only weigh but remember your only 6 weeks out and you should only be eating 1/4 to 1/2 cup of food at each meal. We have to measure and weigh
  4. Adkins crustless chicken pot pie
  5. Most doctors recommend the Flintstones complete. 2 times a day my surgeon doesn't even start you on calcium until your 3 months post op and vitamin b12 at around 6-8 weeks post op. They haven't said anything about iron. I guess I will find out Wednesday
  6. Glad your feeling better!! I am feeling a lot better thank you!!
  7. I am slowly losing. I am3 months post op. I went whole month of December without losing anything. Lost 4 pounds first week in February and haven't lost any this week at all. It is scary when you see people saying 6 months for the majority or rapid weight loss. I still have about 80 more to lose. I don't see inches either. I went close shopping because I noticed the 16's were a little baggy so went to try on smaller size nope!!! Wont fit so had to get size 16's again. It is disheartening and yes I get angry because my surgeon strictly told me I would lose 100 pounds in the first 4 months.
  8. Adkins chicken broccoli Alfredo. 330 calories 26 grams of protein
  9. One day I had my regular protein shake. Body fortress chocolate one scooped mixed with fat free skim milk. I had been drinking this months before surgery and for a couple weeks after then that day 30 minutes after drinking it I dumped on it. Classic symptoms shaky panicky nauseous instant diarrhea I felt I was dying. I became lactose intolerant that fast but now a couple months later I have no problem with milk but I am still scared because one day you can be fine next day make you sick then day after your fine again. That's the weird part of this surgery
  10. It sounds with the panicky feeling sounds like hypoglycemia. But dumping is like that too and so is lactose problems. The protein powder. Check and see if it contains milk.
  11. Sigh!! Well last week 217. Dropped to 215 like Sunday and today back to 217. So guess I'm stalling every other week!!! So 4 lbs lost in 2 weeks
  12. I had a Adkins frozen meatloaf with portabella mushrooms with veggies. These meals are so good!! I bought enough to have one for dinner every day.
  13. I was feeling better but today nauseous drinking and pain when eating
  14. No problems there. I have been very lucky so far not to get a cold this winter. Had my flu and pneumonia shot before surgery too. It must have been dumping. But I still have to get doc to check the pain while eating and drinking
  15. Thanks i need to take a new one that one was like a month ago.
  16. Oh and only take them when you feel that way. You don't need to take them daily unless you just want to
  17. They really help!! I feel better already!!! They are like vitamin supplements. I get then at GNC they gad bogo so they last quite a few months and chewable eat 3-9 daily but what they do is help in food digestion like if you get something stuck or overeat they help very good investment!!!
  18. It will be here before you know it!!
  19. I don't know I'm popping papaya enzymes like candy just in case so it will hurry and go away if it is
  20. Same here!!! But I also been in pain eating. I go for my 3 month post op on the 13th so hopefully if it doesn't go away by then they can help. I am trying to think if maybe I ate something that is making me dump right now. Who knows sigh
