I know how you feel I'm 271 5 8 and I wear a 15. I am solid like a brick if cheese with waves in it. People can't believe how much I weight. I have co works saying why would you go for that surgery . I'm like seriously you don't know anything about my life or medial issues. i can't even imagine losing weight and what i would look like.

Yes I did see that but she held it all together so proud of that anchor woman. She said what she had to with class. Worm I hope you hear something soon I'm rooting for you. I get major anxiety at work when I do intakes with strangers going to malls movies dinner anything I am always thinking someone is laughing at me or watching me giggle by. It's hard I hope this ends . So this surgery is going to be my tool and ill be damned if I fail . I have hope and faith on my side to help.

Thank you for sharing. God always loves you and sometimes in life things happen and we don't understand why. God has a plan for us weather it us being on this earth a long time or short. God was ready for his angel to return. Life has been hard and you are still strong. You lost your way for a moment but its getting better. Your daughter is above cheering for you and smiling down on you. Again thank you for sharing and we are here to support you in anyway we can. Big hugs

Funny thing in Canada we had our Thanksgiving last week . So I was luck not to have to miss it.

I know @ Honeydue 29. Im just glad it will be done and over with soon. Its been a very quick process for me. My family doctor that did my referral said you know its about a 2 year wait. This was in May and I was shocked when I got a call in June to attend Orientation class and then it all started. I seen the surgeon Aug and seen the SW Nut and RN end of September and bang there you go now I see the surgeon again on the Wednesday and pick up my liquid diet and away I go. I'm also in Canada so the process is a little different. My starting weight is 275 and I'm at 271 current. My goal is to be 150to 140 no more and no less. Lets see if I can do it. My family is supportive my workplace not so much. They are all like you do nt need surgery your fine. I m thinking you are not me so bug off. Either support me or bug off. This is my life and I have to live it. I want to be happier , healthier and live longer so that is y goal.

I look forward to not being the fat friend and I'm looking forward to life and all that it holds for me since I've been avoiding life. Clothes is a big plus as well as working out and not being worried someone is laughing at me . People can and will be mean no matter what size but still it's how I feel .

I just have to do my Optifast for 2 weeks and at my PAtts I have blood work meet with a nurse, the person who puts you to sleep, and I think thats it. I meet with the surgeon on wednesday 17 to pick up my drink

No I haven't started I start on oct 21 I. Am doing the optifast then surgery lol I go for pre op on oct 24 . Do u think you will have to be on a liquid diet? If so how long
