  1. Thank you for the compliments. I'm excited to know what you all think after you try it.
  2. I hate auto correct. I didn't award anything. I seared them off.
  3. I took pounded thin pork chops and seasoned them with cumin, Mexican oregano, salt, pepper, garlic granules and awarded them off in a little extra virgin olive oil. I topped it with tostitos salsa and Mexican blend low fat cheese and browned it under the broiler. I topped it with a salad of kumato ( the brown tomato ) you can use regular tomato as well, scallions, and black olive. I dressed it with some fresh lime juice and salt.
  4. Thank you to all who replied. Great ideas and I will look into all. I looked up the unjury protien powder and I think I'm going to try that route ontop of the ground meats.
  5. I hope the chili I made last night helps. Not that I feel the need to eat it but I know I need the protien and hopefully the energy that comes from it.
  6. Good luck and have a speedy recovery.
  7. I had surgery 7/23/12 and have been living on Protein Water. The one thing I notice is that I never really feel hungry tho. If it wasn't for the fact that I have to have the protien in my diet I wouldn't even think about food. Is this normal? Does anyone else who had surgery never feel hungry? The draw back is I am real weak. I can't go for more than 15-20 minutes on my feet without getting real weak and start to be in pain in my belly. I am at the point where I can eat chili and things like that so I will give that a try and see if it gets better. Anyone else out there feeling the same?
  8. Good luck and a speedy recovery.
  9. Keep fighting the good fight man. It sounds like a bad situation but it will get better. I was re-hospitalized after my release as well. Been living on nothing but Protein Water ( Isopure ) but I can assure you it gets better. Once they have the bowel thing corrected you will be on you feet in no time. Good luck and let us know how you end up.
  10. Hello all, I'm 2 weeks after surgery now and I still can not hold down any Protein shakes or Greek yogurts and have been living on a product called Isopure which is a Water with 40 grams of protein. Has anyone else encountered a hard time with protein products? My stomach reacts violently to any shake and I can not handle the yogurts after just a few days.
