I trust me I know what that's like my day was sent for may 15, was on that liquid diet , went to the doctor on may 14th and notice my doctor has His finger wrap up and he tells me I can't do your surgery tomorrow cause his having surgery. So finally got mine done on July 10th, I had to make sure his finger was workin right before he worked on me.

I had to have one, I would call my primary doctor and make appointment just incase , you are to close for set backs.

Take a pain pill b4 you get the pain taken out its a lil discomfort if you dont but once it's out it's like instant relieve once it's out....

And Joe yes walking is the key to feeling better, and don't forget your Chapstick u will need it, best wishes....

It's normal, I'm in the same boat start at 210 on surgery day , was 200 one week after surgery , and today I'm 199. Just hang in there and try to get more Protein that's really important. Everyone 's body is different.

Today is the worse day , just keeping asking for the medicine and sleep today away, tomorrow walk, walk, walk..... Best wishes!

Try to stay Between 600 - 800 calories a day for the first few months, I know that part sucks but my Dr stresses that point at every appointment.

Welcome, Tank. It's gets easier as days good bye. I had my surgery on July 10th and I can just now sleep on my stomach. Just keep on walking and you will keep on healing, I'm walking 4 miles a day again, and I'm feeling great. May God Bless you on this long journey. I'm in the same boat as you, had my surgery on July 10 and I only lost 9 pounds, just try to get the 70 grams of Protein in a day, and the 64 oz of Water, my doctor said its normal that everyone is different.

My doctor took my dressing off after a week, however I still wear my band for the support. It helps a lot.

Yes I had a open RNY,I felt a lot better when my doctor took the drain out, I have 13 staples and it's very sore.

Ok thanks, I was wondering if I was doing to much.
