I think this kind of encouragement of public judgment degration and bullying is unacceptable. Because someone made a bad choice does not give anyone else the right to degrade them in public. There's a difference between being of obnoxious and just being hateful.

There's a trick to it that's for sure deep pan with Swanson's chicken broth on the bottom of the pan the duck up on a rack in the pan tinfoil over . This is the best way to keep it tender and not sitting its its own fat duck is fatty I will test bunny it out for dinner tomorrow then and let you know

Has anyone had duck ? Does it sit well? I was thinking of making one and not sure how it will sit. I'm sleeved ATM and will be Rny in June so Not a lot of differences and what can and can't be eaten but there are some.

Lmao I would think so but you never know. I would eat what feels right to you and is ok by your doc and nut. I think there is a pregnancy Forum in here as well you might want to check that out they might have good info for you

No it's very easy on the tummy and very tender. It dose not taste all that different from a very good cut of beef. I picked it up at Kroger's I like my food to look pretty lmao

Oh wow. I hope the RNY works out for u. I'm sure it will. I keep reading more and more stories like that about the sleeve but it means more to me to really hear it first hand.

Lol yeah it's a lot to take in and even more to deal with. I have been called full of it I've been told to eat right and work out to stick to the plan not by docs but by other sleevers. You would think your peers other people who have had it done would support you but most of them like to degrade and belittle you if yours is not working as well as the majorities. There are a few that are Kind understanding but most are down right Nasty and judgmental. I'm reading more and more ppl getting there sleeve redone many as slow as me some that stop loosing or loss 1 lb a month. I just lost 1lb after 3 months of nothing. The sleeve is just a Up in the air crapshoot ATM and a fad it works well for some and not at all for others. I would not say down right don't get it to someone I would more Say take a hard look and a evaluation of your eating habits Before you choose a wls. I wish I knew to do that before I spent the time and money I did on the sleeve.

Sure well I'm almost 7 months out and only down 35/38 lbs It depends on how much Water I drink or don't drink. I eat 800-1000 cals a day work out 5 days a week 80-100 Protein under 50 carbs. Now I been eating like this from month 3 I stop Losing weight about month 3. My old eating habits were triple Venti white mocha that was my Breakfast and lunch. After work I would make dinner for the family we eat dinner later on that evening I would have a snack which was usually carbs can of Pringles and a Mountain Dew. I had eaten like this for over 10 years. In that 10 Years my weight did not move much just stayed around 260/250 no matter what I did. Unknowns to me I had trashed my metabolism. I was easily living off 600-700 Calories a day years before my sleeved. So I was told after the initial surgery my body was in overdrive healing so I was able to lose 35/38 lbs. After my body was done healing it went back to using its normal calories. So with only eating what I'm eatting now my body thinks I need maintenance so weight dose not move up or down I just continued to break even. So I was told I need the RNY for its metabolic reset . I hope it works

After my first wls I can no longer eat Out of plastic containers it makes the food taste so nasty lmao I bought a ton of 3 oz rubber made things I now only use for the kids lol. I did go out and buy glass ones I use now your taste will change after keep that in mind.

I still have 100....I feel ur pain!! I spent 2 days in ICU & I'm a much better nurse than a patient!!! I didn't go through all this to be a medium!!Yeah same here I thought the sleeve was best but I was wrong so here's to take two for me rather do it now then sit and maybe put on all I have lost then do it. I was self pay for the sleeve 25k I'll be self pay for the Rny but it will get done. I don't think I would have thought about doing it if it was not for All of the countless test I've had done to figure out what the reason was in the 1st Place to why I stoped loosing weight after 3months out . It's nice to know I'm not The only failed sleeve

Yeah tg I have a skinny face that's it waist is 44 and my hips 48 I'm a apple or a Wombling meatball with legs as you say. I still have over 60 lbs to loss.

I have done the pre-op once before let me give you some tricks and hint to make it a little easier on you
1.Go out and buy a ninja or a bullet because you can make a snow cone and put Crystallight in it and eat it all day long it helps a lot with the need for Crunchy and chewing helps get Water in and Gives your mouth something to do
2. Crystal light Popsicles!! Something you can have as many as you want easy to make . Take water crystal light and poor in Popsicle makers.
3. Hot Decaffeinated herbal tea and green tea. Helps with the hot late night snack and hot broth Swanson's chicken and beef is pretty good.
Hope that helps you guys a bit having done this once before its hard but yell if you need anything even I it's just to vent

Ok I'm just going to post this in here. Who is a slow loser and what is slow to you? I'm asking coz I'm a sleeve to Rny come June coz I no matter how much I workout and how little I eat I don't loss weight. In my 6 1/2 months with the sleeve I lost 35lbs. The 35lbs was lost in the first 3 months nothing after. I live off 800-1000 cals a day easy workout 5 days a week. So I'm kind of wanting to find ppl that just could not loss weight no matter how hard they tried before they got the Rny and have lost weight. Any help here would be good I'm so worried about doing this all over again and it still not work.

As a once Abused child and battered wife and fat girl you need to get help. It's so easy for ppl to say shut up stop crying over it. It is a lot harder to do so on your own I think you getting help is what will help you get over it. I have three kids of my own my oldest I had at 17 My first marriage ended with me in the hospital with countless broken bones. I don't let my past run my life and I don't Play the victim card because the longer you play it the longer you are a victim to stop being the victim you have to get help and get over it. I say this with a understanding and loving heart I know your pain but I know it can be overcame

I'm going to take this back on track this is Supposed to be about what you had for dinner so I will start. I had planned to cook a duck I even bought one it's frozen I'll be cooking that tomorrow. I picked up some lamb chops to cook tonight. After I cook them I will post another little pretty picture with calorie, Protein and carb information I'm going to have to go back a few pages to find out what this buffalo stuff is all about it sounds great!!
