  1. I stopped having regular menstrual cycles at around the age of 15. Since then I would get my period maybe 3-4 times a year and it would last about a day or so. Over time it slowed down more and more up until I would last years without a period. (I had an IUD put in last year and before that my last period was almost 2 years past) After surgery (now 6 weeks post op) I've been spotting on and off. I wonder if it's because of the hormones and changes in the way my body now balances things or is it just due to the weight loss??
  2. We're on the same boat. I went to chipotle, had less than half of a burrito bowl (no rice) with no problem.
  3. Don't beat yourself up mami. You do belong here, and you're def a valued member of this forum. We all have issues in our lives, and sometimes it's good to vent and let it out. Hope you feel better mami. :-)
  4. Lol yeah. They sell it in a box and in little packets. You add it to anything that you would normally add regular sugar in and it tastes just like the real thing. :-)
  5. I usually do banana, strawberry and pineapple. With Water & ice and stevia. Or Mango & pineapple with water & ice and stevia. Yum.
  6. I did had my first one 1.5 weeks out. If you normally have them add sugar then just tell them to add substitute sugar (stevia is pretty darn good)
  7. I didn't get a special card :-/ no fair lol
  8. Sec 8 is closed in NY. We have no idea when that'll open up again.
  9. Well. I'm from NYC. So I'm all Giants and Yankees.
  10. I think that's the only thing I got on Ohio. Don't know much else. Well, other than that picnic basket looking building. Lol
  11. I have an IUD too (Mirena) for a little over a year. No regrets here. & I've tried ALL methods of BC. -__-
  12. Hope you feel better. Sending good vibes your way.
  13. Pictures! Pictures! Haha and that's great that you're happy with your transformation.
  14. You look great! You also look younger now lol. But keep up the great work. You really look amazing.
  15. A nutritionist from my job got me Yes whey, a Protein shot made from whey isolate protein only and it's 25g of protein per tube and it's only 2.9 oz. I'm going to give it a try and I'll update you guys with the taste opinion. This is pretty new and it's available from a pretty reliable source. Bariatricadvantage.com. Cheers!
  16. Well, all we did was get the Aunt Jemima whole wheat blend. We added some unflavored Protein and then added the eggs and milk. And cooked it regular. It was as good as regular pancakes to me and it went down fine. I'm 4 weeks post op btw. hope it helps. But unfortunately what works for one person doesn't necessarily mean it'll work for the next. Hopefully it works for you too.
  17. That sucks. I'm so sorry. Hope you recuperate quickly. Sending good vibes your way.
  18. If you're like me and like (or love) your pancakes, today my mom made me wheat pancakes with extra added Protein with sugar free syrup. I got 10g of protein plus the protein from the egg and milk used. it was yummmmm! Lol & I feel you about the gulps. Sometimes if I forget and I gulp then my pouch gets mad and tightens up. Ugh!
  19. I hope you both feel better. But I'm glad you were able to make it to the hospital to have yourself checked out. And yes please keep us updated.
