I just left my first post op appointment and the first time I've been weighed. I lost 21 in two weeks!!!!!!! Sooo excited!!!!!!

I know its hard but you need to get you and your kids out of there. He sounds like he's ready to snap. I don't want to see anything happen to you or the kids.

I'm getting sick of the fake sugar taste. Its awful. I can only do freezing cold water. I just want this whole year to fly by!!

I just can't seem to drink enough liquids. And protein I'm barely getting 30 grams a day. I really cannot stomach my protein shake anymore. It makes me gag. I go to the doctor tomorrow and can start soft food also. How do you guys manage to get all 64 ounces in a day?

It is a bacteria you often pick up in the hospital that pushes out the other bacteria that lives in your stomach that gets killed by antibiotics. In turn you get awful diarrhea. No fun at all!

I thought I had c diff too. I had up to atleast 6. Loose bowel movements a day at the beginning. I'm down to about 3 a day sometimes even in the middle of the night. My doctor told me that it is normal. Hope you feel better!

Honestly I regretted it at first. I cried for the first few days. My fiance brought me back to reality. We will be able to eat just not as much! One day my fiance brought pizza home and it smelled so good. I freaking impulsively took a bite, chewed it and spit it out. I just miss the chewing!!

I'm sick of liquids too! Nothing tastes good. I am having a hard time drinking g2 Gatorade bc I'm sick of the taste. Makes me gag. I get to start soft protein on Monday. So excited. I'm actually getting stomach growls. I am sick of my protein shake. It also makes me gag. I'm drinking the appletini crystal lite (sooo good) and diet sweet tea. Only a few more days )

Yes! I had them too! When I called the Dr office they said that I am just over doing it and need to relax. My surgery was July 2. Also she told me to drink more. My cramps have gone away completely. Hope you feel better!

Yes. I have the same thing. I have about six injection sites with lumps and bruising. Was told its normal by physician assistant.

I am 6 days out. I have been lucky with minimal pain. Today I started to experience lower back cramps (like period like cramps) but I know its not that because I had it last week. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds like my situation! I'm scared to fart! Mine is the exact same way. Had surgery on Monday.

I noticed it hurts worse when I drink fake sugar. Going to limit that.

Well I am home!! Feeling pretty great actually! Still trying to get rid of the gas pains. Walking a lot and sipping. Any other suggestions?

Thank you both. I'm very excited to start my new life. I have an 18 month old daughter. She is my inspiration. Can't wait until I can keep up with her. Most people I've talked to have told me to make sure I'm up and walking bc the gas is painful. Ill update tomorrow!!

My surgery is tomorrow morning at 9. Don't really know what to expect. I'm getting through the clear liquid diet surprisingly well. My starting weight is 365. Can't believe it got this bad. I am so positive about the future and can't wait to get through this.
