Because im having a hard time losing what the doc asked, which was 10lbs. Im not sure...but i think.

Me!! Ive gained 10 & still got approved and scheduled for 9/25. However im afraid that at my pre op appointment my doctor might postpone....

I got a date!!!! After 2 years of contemplating and 8 months of waiting..I got the call today! Sept 25th is the day! Ofcourse its a lil later than i wanted but its all Gods time! Yay!!!

Today is the 7th and im getting worried and impatient. Ive called several times and im getting different answers each time. Mostly saying 15 to 30 days. Ugh i dnt wanna wait that long :/ especially when i see people being approved in days. Anyone have Aetna?

I will tell any and everyone who asks. Im not gonna broadcast it but I have shared my journey with many people and most are very supportive. If I am asked I will be truthful. Im no Star Jones, thats for sure! LOL!

So...i went in for my last appointment and I have gained 10 lbs since DEC when I first started. I too, have been eating away...mourning food. The nurse says she wants me back down to my original weigh in weight before they schedule me for surgery so I have to lose weight, even tho they are applying for approval tomorrow. Sadly I dont even know how to lose 10 pounds, help???!!!

Ever broke a chair, split your pants, got turned down for an amusement park ride in front of a ton of people?? What was ur most embarrassing moment? Mine would b that I work in a military child development center. I work with one year olds who love me to pieces! They rub my thighs, play with my arm fat lol sleep so comfortably on me HOWEVER..... We have rooms that have 4 yr olds and ugh every time I step foot in one of third rooms the children destroy me !!!! One time these 3 little girls were sitting at a table staring at me and whispering. Then one says pointing to her friend, "she said your big and fat" and I said "she did??" and she was like, "yeah and your hair looks ugly" and at that point I was mortified but tickled at how brutally honest children are. I have yet to step another foot in that room!

My doc is applying for approval for my surgery this Thursday and I know I'm going to be on pins and needles until I get that call. I have Aetna. Just wondering how long it will take??
