  3. I have to be at the hospital at 6am to get my Lovenox injection and Atb then off to the surgery room by 0830!! Oh Im so excited!!
  4. I was told your body only absorbs 10grams of protein every 3 hours
  5. It depends on the cause of the PCOS, if the root cause was being overweight then it will resolve. I have a friend that is very very thin and has PCOS and hers was caused from Endometriosis. I hope yours resolves because Im telling you I felt so bad for her when she had her flair ups....brought her to her knees.
  6. Also you can get dizzy from sitting to standing....if your mouth is dry then your body is trying to tell you to give it some water and your already in dehydration mode.
  7. Congrats, you look great!!

  13. Good luck tomorrow! You have this in the bag. I am also so so so anxious, I am having surgery in 6 days. To top it off I have finals this week and cant use comfort foods to help.
  14. I have missed my period this month, pregnancy test is negative, and Im loosing like 15 lbs a week on this preop diet. Has this happened to anyone else? My doctor said not to worry but the only time this happened was when I played sports and was pregnant.
  15. I had horrible headaches the first week....take some Tylenol and drink lots of water. Dont forget about your protein. It is very hard to get your calories in when your on this liquid diet, sometimes adding some peanut butter to a shake will help. There were some days that I tried and tried to get calories but only got around 400. I can eat all the yogurt I want...(I use Krogers Carbmaster yogurt which is only 4 carbs which is amazing when it comes to yogurt) I also got the New Whey Protein shots and took one ounce every 3 hours because your body will only absorb 10 grams of protein in 3 hours. My doctor also said I can have cottage cheese (YUCK) but thats also a choice.

  21. Ok so I am a basketcase right now...Im 12 days out from my surgery (liquid diet is not helping matters). I am so emotional. Is this a normal feeling? My mood swings are up and down like a swinging pendelum. Please tell me Im not the only one that has had this happen to them.
