  1. I had a Psych and Nut eval. I also had an upper GI, gallbladder US, EKG, x-ray and blood work. Surgery is Friday...YEAH!!!
  2. HI! My surgery is on the 24th. I've been on my diet for 4 days now. I'm only allowed Broth, sf jell-o, sf pudding, light yogurt, sf popsicles,no sugar added fudgesicles, and a 1 1/2c of cottage cheese. Did your Dr office give you a list what you can have? Some vary in what thier patients are able to have.
  3. My total time will be les than 2 months. But my insurance only required a Psych and Nut eval.

    Smoking?

I tried Chantix a long time ago. For me it was not good. I had bad nightmares which I have never had before. It gave me headaches and not to mention Ins didn't cover it. And it's really exspensive. ( I know cigs are too). I've been wearing the patch for about a month and using my e-cig. I find mine is more of a mental than a physical issue. I still smoke a cig once in awhile ( I know bad). I also know that my Dr doesn't do any nicotine testing.

It will be less than 2 months for me as my Ins didn't kick in until July 1st.

    Just Starting Out

Wow, your Dr requires alot outside of what Ins wants. Why the colonoscopy? You're the first one I've seen that had to have one.

    How Soon Was Your Surgery?

To my knowledge most if not all Dr's require a psych eval per Ins. They want to make sure you know what you're doing. And check you for any signs of mental issues....
