I am so jealous! We had surgery the same day and im still struggling with full liquids and getting my water in! Sounds like you are doing great! Ive been back in the hospital and got home today, being in and out of hospital has messed up any routine i am trying to learn ! Congrats cutie for doing so well!

I am laying here in my hospital bed reading this. I had my surgery 7/11/12 . Also had a huge hernia repair. Everything went well for a couple of days, I was discharged on day five. That was Sunday. Sunday night I was in the ER with difficulty breathing. They wanted to admit me for pneumonia but I refused. I went home and the next morning went back to the hospital and was admitted. I'm hoping to go home today !!!

Well i had my surgery last wednesdwy. I cant believe it come and gone already ! Ive had a setback that is worrisome. I have developed pneumonia . Hard time breathing. Just dont feel well. Not getting my foods in . Did anyone else go thru this ?? The surgery and hernia repair part are going great but tired. Csnt stop coughing which feels really great! Just looking for some encouragement guys !!

Oh yes the spirometer patrol was on full force !! My surgery ended up taking 5 1/2 hours. They assume its related to that.

Glad all iscwell with the july 11TH 'ers i had a set back with pneumonia and my hernia repair but making it thru you guys can already eat pureed foods ?? I am still on aliquid diet !! Am i being scammed ? Lol i want more stuff to try!! -

Preop Diet........ummmmmmmm...... Issues

Hi everyone! I have a rather sensitive subject.... okay, here's the poop..... pardon the pun! I am wondering if anyone else is having alternating diarrhea and constipation problem. My preop diet is 3 slimfast per day. One light yogurt, a lean cuisine for dinner with tiny salad. Lots of water too.....this is killing me ! 5 days til surgery. -
