Hey Tammy, Yeah it's crazy when I see people starting weight as my 1 month goal! But, it's not how you start the race - its how you finish.

I had to do 6 months, but only 3 had to be consecutive within a 24 months. So I was able to use a old program from last year.

Hi Vamp, Great suggestion - I was able to eat the sweet potato kind. They melt super fast!! I wish they had a cheese flavor.

I agree with Nikki, I was going to do the same thing 10 years ago when I was 200 pounds. By the time I got the surgery I was 280. I'm struggling but trying to keep the faith.

Yes! I'm at 3 weeks and still no luck with protein. When I drink it, shakes or juices, I just gag for hours and become nauseated. The smell of it makes me sick to my stomach. I never thought I would run into this problem! Ive bought so many I need to find a way to get samples.

I did not get a drain - sounds painful.

Did anyone recovery take longer than they thought? I'm still waiting for my first good day since the surgery. The surgery pain is getting better but I have a kidney infection that is killing me. I can't take pill antiobitics and this liquid stuff is super disgusting! I'm still in search for my protein shakes that I can drink or smell. I've bought five so far and not lucky.

I eat peaches and nectarines in my cottage cheese with no problems. Scared to try higher sugar fruits like pineapple and strawberries.

Everyday is a roller coaster - with tons of tears. You never know what's going to set if off. They say it gets better but I cant imagine it. My favorite food is pizza and I don't know how to be happy without it.

The smell of protein shakes and vanilla makes me gag.

Hopefully it will not be as bad as you think. 2 of my incision turned very red and swollen but it was reaction to tape and my doc told me to use cortisone. You have to watch the fever - better call to be safe than sorry.

I just found out my back pain was a kidney infection. Not sure when this surgery actually gets better.
