My throat is still sore from the intubation during surgery. I can tell the the roof of my mouth is scratched up, so most likely my throat is scratched up also. Any suggestions on a cure?

Weird Pre-Surgery Jitters
SheVsMe replied to SheVsMe's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mine is August 6th. Anxious is the right word. It's not coming fast enough for me! Oh, here is a pic of my Dr...... -
If I didn't have problems with my PCP, It would have only took about 2 months. I believe I was approved in June. My surgery is August 6th. But, it really does depend on your insurance. If you have an unsupportive PCP, it can take longer.

How Soon Was Your Surgery?
SheVsMe replied to cbrks2012's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It didn't take me long although it could have been a lot sooner. My consult was in February, but my PCP was being a butthole! But pretty much after I was ok'd for surgery and insurance approved me, it only took two months. My surgery is this coming Monday. Good luck to you! Everything will happen for you. It's the waiting that really sucks! -

How Is This Even Possible?!?
SheVsMe replied to MrsCaluza's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I feel you on that, bit every pound you've been losing, I've been gaining. I've totally succumbed to the "last meal syndrome"! -
It only took a day for them to let me know I was approved after they submitted to insurance.

They Finally Called Me With The Time
SheVsMe posted a topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
9:30 Monday morning. I do believe I will be the first surgery of the day. I'm very excited about getting it done! The only question that I have had playing over and over in my head is "What if it doesn't work for me?" Other than that, I'm good. My mother had her surgery on July 9th.. She'd lost 22 lbs at her two week check up. I'm just hoping I do well also. -
When Will Gas And Queasy Go Away?
SheVsMe replied to Wps2's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Yeah, from what I hear, walking is the best medicine. Another member suggested baby gas drops.
