Take everthing you hear and read with a grain of salt. Read all believe nothing. And then do as your heart tells you. You are doing the right thing.
Research your doctor and your hospital get the facts learn take someone close to you for support if not for my wife and kids I would not be doing this.
And know that you are on the road to a better you for your little one that needs mommy . This forum has help me a lot and it will help you Good luck with your new journey

Hello. Everything is great so far. Staff is wonderful. Pain is tolerable. I was able to go from my bed to a chair with very little pain. It was more like discomfort. I will be walking the hall today. Thank you all for the prayers and encouragement. I will keep you updated.

Omg you guys have all brought tears to my eyes I'm glad I can be an inspiration to you all!! I still have 44 more lbs til my ultimate goal I'm hoping by my 1 year mark or before!! I definitely want to be down 100 lbs by my 7th month mark!

I went out and bought me a bikini....still have a lot more work on my mid section I hate my flabby stomach and all my stretch marks eww! But I feel great being able to look ok in a bikini....not only that but I held up my body weight this morning using only my arms so that's another NSV for me!!! Anyways here is the pic of me in my bikini (can't believe I'm posting this, taking all my courage)

This is a great thread!!! I just had my first voimiting experience and was wondering why did I do this!!
Ohhh I remember!
1- not be a slave to food
2- keep up with family and friends
3- buy any bra I want - not special order ugly ones
4- maybe have kids and be able to move around while pregnant
5- not scared of airplane seats

Being diabetes free
Buy nice clothes
Better endowed (lol)
Live long
Protect my kidney transplant

Improving my health
Be able to shop in a regular store
Exercise without feeling like I'm going to pass out.
I already started walking . I'm up to a mile nd a half in 30 minutes.

1. Being able to ride the rides at the amusement parks
2. Being able to shop without people staring
3. Being able to run around and chase my kids
4. Being able to run a marathon

1. Wearing high heels.
2. Dancing at a party.
3. Buying an item of clothing because I like it, not "because it fits"
4. No more Granny Panties!
5. Energy!!!
So many more to mention.....

1. Having energy for my kids
2. Different sex positions
3. Being 125lbs & shopping in a regular store not plus size.

1. Riding the roller coasters or a zip line
2. Shopping and not worrying if it's in my size. Especially if it's someplace I never go!
3. Living a long healthy life with my husband and seeing my grandkids grow up

I want to know....what do you all look forward to when the weight comes off? Here are my top 3.
1. Ride rides at amusement parks especially the scary ones!
2. Ballroom dancing lessons
3. Being healthy to have babies

I'm also on the pre-op full liquid diet. No veggies nothing. I'm on day 7 of 10. First 5 days were hard. I think it's getting easier thou. Start the clear liquid tomorrow. Surgery Tuesday. At the point where I'm crying easily and looking for reasons to canx it. But going to stick it out.

Aunt Flow. Lol. I haven't heard that one. But anyway that's a good idea. My surgery is this Monday so I will weigh in on Friday.
