Oh RNY 8/24/09

For me my sex drive dropped then it when through the roof after 1 year.

Huh, I haven't felt hungry since I had my RNY in 8/24/2010

I would love to have the 30lb loose skin removed

My brother in law said" you belly looks like a wizards sleeve " lol thanks man

I'm fine with my wife's size but if RNY will increase her sex drive I'm gonna have her meet with my surgeon!! Jeeeze! In my case it's been 3 years! Last was when I was in the 300's, she always says, "I miss my big guy"

I had my RNY 8/24/2009 and haven't filt hungry since. I think it's what has helped keep the weight off. 6'3" 440lbs B4 RNY 195lbs now

The first time this operation was done was in 1956 by my surgeon. The guy who had it is still alive. They leave it in for if you need a reversal.

My mess and vitamins equaled 2 meals alone lol.

I gained 12lbs b4 surgery, hit the china buffet on the regular... I was real bad! But I have been good ever since my RNY. Don't beat yourself up to bad. But it is important to shrink the liver so the Surgeon isn't forced to open you up like a frog in science class lol.

I'm shocked it wasn't detected before the surgery. My surgeon fixed mine as part of my RNY. It felt so good to not have that golfball size protrusion any longer. He put in a screen.

"Stuck" is when it's above the stomach in the esophagus. Stuck is also a term used to describe a a feeling that seems like something is stuck. It's really an irritation. Our sensations are all upside down. I haven't felt hungry or full since 8/24/2009.

Take it slow, you have the rest of your life ahead of you to enjoy food again. Two weeks after my RNY I had chicken & veggie soup I didn't puree well enough and my stomach wrenched to the point where I had a GI bleed in my sleep and almost died... All from a 1/2 in piece of super moist chicken! I don't mean to scare anyone, I just would hate to see anyone go through what I put my self through! Congratulation's & welcome to the family!

Mami, sadly this is the norm for many women. My moms boyfriend was much the same, except there was physical abuse. There is no easy fix for you situation. He had the upper hand when you where overweight due to low self esteem and he is extremely insecure and lives in fear that your going to leave him anyway so he's pushing you instead. As you most likely know by now you can't make him wake up. I feel for you, you made a Hugh change in your life to better your life and he seems to be spiraling to the bottom. ;0(
