Migraines and Medication

I suffer from extremely debilitating migraines and I am worried that because the main ingredient in the only medication that helps (fiorcet) is full of caffeine, that I can't have it if I need it after surgery. I can get migraines up to 20 a month, and although surgery is supposed to greatly decrease this, there is no cure or idea on when this will happen. Does anyone else suffer from this? Anyone have suggestions?

Do not use me as a prime example! But... I drink up to 80oz of coffee a day.... My only vice. I use tramidol for back pain & need nexium to protect my pouch against damage from it. I personally haven't seen any negative effects from caffeine.
