  1. I'm a phlebotomist too and was planning on taking 2 weeks off, but going back sooner if I feel better. It's nice to know of another phleb doing this too
  2. Best of luck! Sending you prayers
  3. Hi, the way I feel is that we are always going to encounter food from one occasion to the next and we need this surgery to help us get healthy so I say just do it. My surgery will be in December right around Christmas, but I'm going to do it then anyway...got to learn control anyways and even though I know it's going to be hard, I'm trying to have faith that we can all make this work. Best of luck!
  4. You all look so amazing! Can't wait until I can look like a hottie too!
  5. Congrats!!! That's really awesome! I completely understand the A1C struggle...I've got mine down from 11.7 to 6.4 in less than a year.
  6. I'm still surprised every time I see a picture of myself or catch a glimpse in the mirror of how fat I am. In my head I'm still a size 8 girl with a booty. After the birth of my daughter, having to buy size 24 pants...worst day ever. Can't wait to be in the "normal" sizes.
  7. U can add me too if u like kives00@gmail.com or search Krystal Ives

  10. OMG! Too funny! My husband thought I was crazy I was laughing so hard from this.
  11. I'm with you mami. No one wants to be overweight, we'll show them
  12. Congrats!! That's awesome!
  13. Another comment I hate is, "You have such a pretty face, if you just ate a little less or exercised a little more you'd be pretty all over." Really people?!? How about I tell you that you have butter face. Everything's hot but ur face! We aren't cheating by doing this, we have a metabolic disorder and need a metabolic remedy. Period.
  14. You all look so great! Such an inspiration to me :-) thank you for sharing!
  15. Way to go ladies! :-) No one should bring us down on our journey to health.
  16. -Being able to walk, skip and run with my daughter without feeling like my lungs are on fire -Being able to bend over to paint my toenails and tie my shoes -Buying normal sized clothes without an X or double digits starting with a 2 -Sexy lingerie and being "on top" without feeling like my thighs are killing my husband -Looking like the me I know I am inside -Getting my picture taken with my family -Not hating the mirror and being surprised by how huge I am
  17. I hate how certain foods are so closely tied to emotions. I'm gonna miss my bday cake too, but hopefully our weight losses will overcome the cake pull. Best of luck!
  18. Good luck, my prayers to both of you
  19. Hi everyone! I'm just starting the process to get approved for surgery, my insurance requires 6 months of Dr's visits before granting approval.. so my surgery won't be until December, but I love reading everything you all post. The support is awesome. I was wondering if anyone could post their liver shrink diet? I'd like an idea of what it is :-) I'm 30, 5'8" & a terrible 300lbs. :-( I can't wait to look on the outside how I feel on the inside!!!
