  1. Naples Illinois' date=' that is by Ottawa correct, I live in Princeton, are u going out of Peoria??? If so who is your surgeon, mine is Rossi and I'm scheduled for the rny July 24 2012[/quote']

Not sure where that is but I'm going out of Springfield with Dr Ahad. I'm waiting approval from band to RNY so no surgery date yet. Original surgery was Dr Hammer but insurance required me to switch programs. I was self pay first time. I was beginning to think only people in CA had this procedure so when I saw Peoria, I had to post. I am west of Jacksonville.

  2. Yes. All I am waiting on now is insurance. I had to switch programs because of my insurance. New doctor is great and very supportive of my history and revision. My band is currently unfilled due to the issues I have had with it. My new doc doesn't place bands at all and my old one said he will be stopping.

  3. I am currently 201 and seeking revision too. I don't think you will lose too much since metabolism had changed already from the 1st surgery. I also wouldn't expect to lose large amounts quickly since it's not there to lose. I'm hoping to lose 50-65 pounds if possible. My band is a tool no longer and I now wish I'd had gbp to start but I was too scared. Not any more!!

  4. I actually have bc/bs hshs through the hospital where I work. And they better not pull that crap!!! I've already had to change programs because of the contract with my hospital. I'm hoping my situation is different since I'm revising from band to gastric. However, if I have learned nothing else, it is a money game!

  5. Got a letter today asking for more information. It was dated may 30th. At least it's not a denial! I was told not to call cause they might bury it under more paperwork so I'm just being patient, for now anyway!
