  1. Not lightheaded but, lately I've had a constant headache even when I sleep... I've been wondering what's happening, is this normal? I haven't taken anything for it just hoping it'll go away on its own:(
  2. Congratulations!!! Robert Davis is my Dr, I wouldn't trade him for the world, he's helped me so much!!
  3. No I don't dump... Wish I did!
  4. Thank you MalyssaSue! I guess what really did it for me is that I stuffed/inhaled TWO of them in like less than 1min and standing up ... I felt disgusted with myself afterwards like I had just done something so shameful!!! But you are right, we are all going to make mistakes! Having surgery doesn't mean we flipped a switch to being perfect!! It's a daily commitment!
  5. I know, I wonder if he even did anything through those 6 scars! When I had the band they have me a picture of what the band look like inside and with this bypass I haven't seen or felt anything
  6. Today I stopped to pick up a cake for my mom's bible study and decided to pick up some cupcakes for my boys.... I got home, placed them on the table and went on about my day then I decided to weigh myself and since I'm at a stall I got sooooo upset/disappointed that I marched right up to the table gobbled TWO whole cupcakes while in my head praying to feel what DUMPING feels like!!!! After I was done stuffing alllll those calories and sugar down my throat I felt horrible and threw it up!! I feel like I can't win:( I claim to have will power and enough motivation to do this but there's times I just want to throw in the towel, accept I am meant to be FAT and give it all up!! Help... This is emotionally harder than physically!
  7. How did y'all know something was wrong with y'alls gallbladder!! What are the symptoms?
  8. I had steak, yes steak to see if I could and yes, I can! I ate about 1/2 with mushrooms and I feel fine, I thought I'd be vomiting or feeling over stuffed but to my surprise, I'm good.... Is that normal??
  9. I'm so happy!! I went shopping today & bought me some PINK & YELLOW pants along with matching floral shirts!! I used to only wear BLACK, GRAY & BROWN but now that I've lost 25lbs I'm adding some color to my life!! I still got a long way to go but I'm doing it "brightly" ????
  10. You're doing good though, a loss is a LOSS!! Look me up when u join MFP raquel.rdgz you will love it!! I wanted Starbucks this morning (been good all week and we're busy on Fridays at wk plus, I'm addicted) and I typed in Starbucks toffee nut and it gave me sooo many choices on how to order it so that I could get a "healthier" version which I did, I ordered it with skim milk and didn't taste the difference! When I go out to eat I type in what I plan on eating and sometimes I'm surprised cause its not as healthy as I thought! Anyways-- are you also on instagram!? I'm telling u I need allll the support I can get so on there I see what other people are doing and their transformations like they'll take pics of their dinner, at the gym, Protein shakes, scales ect. So it's like this but more visual!
  11. Yes go to my fitness pal- it'll help out a lot with counting calories, protien and exercise! I just started using it and as for being on here, I started it pre-op and then left it after my dr said my insurance required 6months of weigh ins the about a month ago I can back and I like to read the posts, knowing I'm not alone in this new journey helps! Knowing I can somehow contribute to helping someone also motivates me.... This isn't easy and pre-op I thought it would be! My dr's appointment was yesterday but all he said was that this is a TOOL for me to count my calories and increase my protein if I don't lose more by the time I go back (may) then he'll run some tests to see if anything is wrong, I don't want to wait that long!!! I want to be close to my goal by summer!!!!! (sigh)
  12. I'm in the Houston area so hopefully we do too!
  13. Sorry for what you are going through BUT see this as a new chapter in your life! I recommend that you use it to motivate you to become a new HOTT you! Start loving you again and focus on the blessings in your life!! You are now POST OP and that's a great way to start a new year, new life, and new adventures -- this weekend since they're at that boring (cause I'm sure it'll be) wedding you go watch a movie at the movie theater, get a nice massage, nails and pedi, buy new workout gear to look good when you're working out, sort out your closet by sizes so you know what you're getting rid of first, start a new book... You (we) have to find new ways to deal with our depressions and our celebrations that doesn't involve FOOD! I decided to reward myself I'd buy new clothes/shoes/ jewelery vs going out to eat, I figure I spend $30-60 dollars everytime I go out order meal & cocktails and now I rather spend that on material stuff or save for a cruise this summer!! You'll be ok and better things will come your way! Praying for u! ❤
  14. I didn't know I could make that private!! BUT I'm not-- what's that saying "what you eat in private you show in public" or something like that and it's true, I made the choice to eat what i ate being fully aware of what it contained thanks to MFP, I didn't become morbid obese by eatting "clean" and I'm not perfect, I have my good days and my bad days.... It's the daily decisions that I make that makes the changes so no, I won't hide what I eat and I'd actually welcome advise like -don't eat that cause... Or try this instead...- that's how we learn, from trial and error... I think it's a very useful tool❤
