  1. I know exactly how you feel cause I feel the same way BUT honestly, what can we do? We can't turn back time and even if we could, we would do it all over again cause we couldn't wait to be post-op! Yea these stalls suck but, you have lost some and if we hadn't have had the surgery we would be gaining still and be even more miserable. Everyone tells me to be patient, take my protien, drink my water and consume my vitamines but all I really want is to look & feel better.... All we can do is keep it going and focus every day, there is no other options - a year from now we'll look back and this will be a stepping stone to greatness! Keep your head up and know you are POST OP lots of people out there can't even get insurance approvals or are still waiting for the surgery and we are blessed enough to have had it already!! I'm here if you need me! I can always meet you 1/2 way for a protien shake
  2. I just got it about a week ago and I love LOVVVE it!! I'm actually putting in what I'm thinking of eating and saying "oh no, that's way to may calories" so proud of ME cause the old me would NOT have thought twice! Add me: RaquelRdgz
  3. You are right and that's one thing I'm working on daily, to be positive and HAPPY with my blessings. 8 months ago I didn't even think I was going to be able to get the surgery and now I've had it so, I should count my blessings and work hard with what I've been given. I love love this site- its like having a reality check everyday!! Thank you!!!
  4. How'd it go with your follow up?!
  5. I guess we have real high expectations and yet we want it to happen over night' my MaIN MAIN concern is my availability to eat and not feel full I just do not feel that it's suppose to be like this!! What if I stretched it and all this was for nothing?? I am sooooo emotional and this dr's appointment feels like its never going to get here-- lots of people post that they aren't even hungry, well why am I? I am so ready to get off this emotional roller coaster, seriously!!
  6. Me too!!! Raquel.rdgz@ymail.com Surgery date was 11/6/12!!
  7. Oh Gosh I get all down, depressed & vow to thrown scale into my neighbor's backyard but then I log in here and see that I not the only one who feels like this!! I want to see changes in me, the scale and my clothes-- I feel like I should be losing it like water and instead I feel like the people who know I've had it done are looking at me thinking ~ she had gastric and she still looks the same, it must not have worked for her ~ I don't want to FAiL!!!
  8. Well if you had asked me while I was in the hospital if I'd do it again I would of said "helllll NO" but now that the pain is gone i say I would- (I think that's how I also ended up with 3 kids;) )
  9. My surgery was 11/6 so about 8weeks out.... I'd do it all over again!!
  10. I'm FaRrrrrRRrr from being a runner BUT I have been getting on my treadmill and I walk, jog, walk and I've increased my speed and inclines I'm excited about that!! I would love to do a marathon or something but taking baby steps for now ---
  11. And I can't believe she has TWO kids and looks like that!!! OMG... I didn't even look like that before kids!!!
  12. I am anxious to meet with the dr on the 17th! I want him to check me out and make sure everything is ok-- I am super concerned with the amounts I'm able to consume and I worry that I may have a leak but, if I had a leak I'd be sick (I think) anyways I just want him to reassure me that I'm fine and if I'm NOT, I wanna be fixed!
  13. At this stage I ate mostly soups and I think I tried tuna... Pinto Beans too.
  14. I like salmon-- but nothing we eat will add up to all the protein we need so the Protein Shakes are a MUST is what my nutricionist & dr told me~ I went out and bought the Magic Bullet to make my shakes, I add soy milk and a scoop of protein along with fruits & veggies
  15. It was good- two people down cause one quit!! I know lots of people were pissed off since she decided to just walk out smh
  16. On 20/20? Yes, I saw that!! And yes, so glad kids are on the biggest loser- thinking of putting my middle child in soccer or something cause he loves it I just put it off due to convenience to me! Anybody try body by vi?
  17. Anybody watching the Biggest Loser? What are your thoughts??
  18. Dont give up & your dr wants the surgery so they'll know exactly what to put on those insurance requests
  19. Oh but I love Takis lol!! I actually crunched two and sprinkled it in my tuna to give it some flavor and as for the kids yes, I noticed too! My son ate a snack size bag of Cheetos and then a brownie then wanted Cereal <~ no way we had just came back from dinner!!! Only thing is I have boys and I maybe wrong but in my opinion it's more detrimental in females!! You have jeans in 10-20 or 18-20?! I wish I was in a size 14 already but I tried and nope, not there yet but almost!! I love New York & Co and want to throw my Lane Bryant card in the shredder sooo soon, I may even YouTube it You aren't in the pearland area by any chance? I need a gym buddy that will actually go, isn't a stick figure or happy to be fatty!
