    I hope your friend calls her surgeon. She took the step to get the help she needed for surgery, why not get the continued help to be a success?
    Any way our brain sends us signals that we are hungry but it is also sends the same signal that we are thirsty. We can confuse our thirst for hunger. So eat the 1/2 to 1 egg and wait 30 min, then drink Water. And see if you are still getting the hungry feeling. Try more water if you are.
    Good luck to your friend & congrats on making a great life style change for your self. Having a close friend to lean on & for support is the best!

    I'm allowed to have flat ginger ale after surgery so I would assume you can have flat sparkling water. To be sure though I would ask my doctor.
