  5. DL let Mr know about Quest bars.: )...your endorsement means a lot to me! I'm gonna see if they have them at Kroger. If you find them first let me know Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk
  6. I use "pure protein" Protein bars. Low in sugar and fat and pack about 18-20 grams of protein per bat. Ask DLCOGGIN (hope I spelled his name right)...he's the go to guy on here as far as protein. I call him the protein guru. He will get u on the right path. A lot of protein bars are high in fat or high in sugar. Make sure you read your labels. Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk

  13. I'm with the masses on this one. I'm losing slow if at all here lately. I'm 5 months out down 71 lbs and added complex carbs a few weeks ago but only 2 servings per day. Getting in all of my Protein and Water and Vitamins and I work out tenaciously . I'm 43 years old. Started at 285lbs....55 more lbs to lose. Everyone keeps saying how slim I look but its hard for me to see when I know the scale hasn't moved this week.: (. I'm PMSie and under a lot of mental stress and anguish from fear of failing. I haven't gained anything, but when the scale stops moving its devastating for me. Today I broke down into tears because I am so frustrated..... I most definitely feel everyone's pain Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk
  14. Congrats! Non scale victories are the most satisfying! You go girl! Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk

  17. I started Zumba about 2-3 weeks after surgery...it was a beast!!!! But I would make it thru. I do zumba (on my kids Xbox at home) when the weather doesn't allow me to get out and walk or when I'm bored with stationary bike Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk
  18. Lol! I also weigh less than my D.L...and I had stretched the truth about 35 lbs.in my favor! Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk
  19. Excellent thoughts! I didn't have to do a pre op diet so my 70 lbs is all after surgery weight loss. I sometimes think that people who did the pre op diet got like a jump start...not because if their weight loss but because of there body already being tuned to the liquids and Protein...just my thoughts and opinions though...anyways hello to all of us fabulously 40's! Lol Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk
  20. I'm 43...had surgery March 21st 2012. I've had no problems or complications and I'm down 70+ lbs. May sound slow compared to a lot of people on this forum but my doc says that I'm doing excellent and ahead of where they would like for me to be. I started at a whopping 285 lbs...now I'm 215 (maybe less!) and can't wait to get to wonderland!!!! I haven't weighed less than 200 lbs since junior high school. I must say as of yet I have no regrets : ) Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk
  21. I'm lactose since surgery as well but you should be able to tolerate some of the cheeses that are more aged. Such as Swiss...at least that's what Dr. told me. I can tolerate yogurt as well.,.certain kind though Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk
