  14. What ever happened to compassion huh? Lol...Everyone that I know that double scooped their protein saw a drastic turn around. I'm praying for you. Also try not to stress I'm sure its making it worse. And you can always vent to us instead of your man because we are all here for you. That way u won't have to hear such compassion less comments My mom has alopecia areata and hair loss in clumps most definitely a protein deficiency. So scoop it up girl!: ) Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk
  15. Hey vamp have someone who knows their weight step on your scale to see if its accurate. Or go to a mall or drug store where they have those professional scales that cost like a quarter then go home and weigh yourself on your scale to see the difference. Also are you having proper bowel movements and drinking all of your Water? Even when your just mildly dehydrated you'll retain fluids. Working out you're probably sweating a lot so you have to drink your water. Also some of the crystal light flavors are high in sodium which will make you retain water as well. I in addition to Protein & sugar content I watch the sodium content because my joints a prone to swelling. I hope some of this helps. Don't get discouraged. Oh yeah , Prayer changes things! 18. My nutritionist said that its actually a Protein deficiency and to dbl scoop your protein. Also there is an awesome lady on here I think here name is RaleighNC that's around 10 months post op that said the same thing. She said once she doubled up her protein the hair loss quickly subsided. Possibly ask your Dr to check your protein levels. My Doc does it routinely because protein is so very important to our success as bypass patients. But I always says prayer won't hurt either! ....and a good scalp massage everyday... Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk
