  1. Hi everyone! So I had definitively hit a plateau, I been 175lbs for a month now, it's kind of discouraging but I'm hoping I'll star losing lbs again and SOON!!! 3. Hello everyone! Yesterday's was my 4 months post-op, initial WT 270lbs HT 5' 6", today's WT 187lbs so far ha lost 83lbs, can't wait to hit my ideal wt of 140lbs off-course if my body decides to get there lol. I will take 160lbs but I would like a wt that will allow me to go up and down a bit and not to worry about and I think 140lbs is the perfect goal for it!

  7. Veronica your story is amazing plus motivational! Since youorate 4yrs out from RNY I have few questions, if you don't mind answering them: 1. Did you start an exercise regimen right after surgery? How many times a week you exercise? 2. What kind of exercises you do? 3. How was the hair lost? If any? 4. How's the excess skin? Any surgery? Did your insurance covered it? 5. Any regrets? Thanks for sharing your amazing story, it gives hopes to the ones starting. Oh btw I am aiming for 145lbs, do you think it's a realistic goal? I'm 5'6" cwt 192lbs, highest 270lbs.
  8. Hello everyone so today is exactly 15wks post op, my surgery was 04/02/2012, my highest weight was 270lbs, current wt is 192lbs, had lost 78lbs. Had no complaints so far (knock on wood) other than I just started to noticed some hair lost, bu thankfully I have thick hair so I hope not to get too bald, and if so I am mentally prepare for the challenge. This surgery so far has been a blessing, a feel great, more energize and mega inspire to continue doing the right thing which is getting a healthier life! Finally I learned how to post before and after pics so there you have it!

  13. Omg ladies I had to replay to this threat! I'm starting to have hair lost, an it's scaring the heck out of me, I was so confident that I would probably be one of those lucky ones that don't experience such a problem but that isn't the case. I'm 3 months and 2wks out had lost 70lbs so far and overall been doing great, except that now I started to noticed the hair lost issue. Thankfully I had thick hair, but still I'm very concern. I need to know from the ones that already had this problem; how long it last? Did you lost all the hair/completely bald? What is the best solution/treatments? And did it grow back like normally or more healthier than before?
