i can't wait to get to that smaller size I am now in 1x from a 3x and 4x would love to be in normal sizes like large and medium-------getting there ----it has been 8 months and I have lost 82 lbs so far.

Hi everybody,
It looks like we are all so much closer to our surgery dates and especially so for those early November 'sleevers'. I hope that all is going to plan for you all and that there are no major doubts creeping in. I feel like I am over that stage. My only worry is the pre-op diet but I know it will be OK when it comes to the crunch...so to speak!
i have noticed that a few of you are quite worried about the IV...please don't...these health professionals do it every day and I have yet to hear of somebody failing to go through surgery beacuse of that issue alone. Just close your eyes, relax and it will be fine!!!
Does anybody have any useful information to avoid weakness/tiredness post surgery? I am a little concenrd abot that but I am guessing if I keep up my Protein and Water levels that should not be too much of an issue.

I'm nervous about the pre diet. I was told mine will not be liquid but I won't believe it until I meet with them on the 7th. My surgery is at 7:30 in morning so I am the first one for the day. I am excited about being first!

Today is my 2nd day of pre-op diet. So far its not that bad. And believe me I was going crazy over thinking how this was going to go. I am very hungry, its not so much head hunger rather than real deal hunger. I only have 3 Protein Drinks a day to drink and thats it. So imagine that! All of you who are going through it soon you will be fine. try not to over think it like I did, we only make it harder on ourselves. Remember the big prize!!! Im so ready for this part to be over and to get the ball rolling.

I was informed that by tomorrow at 1 pm I should have a finally decision (hoping an approval). I am so excited. Of course the doctor is out of the office on Tuesday, so on Wednesday I should know my surgery date. My paperwork was submitted early September so this has been a long time coming. I am glad I got my appeal in right away.

Hello to all the new November sleevers and welcome!!! I'm also a November sleever surgery date was November 30,2012. This was by far the best thing to happen to me!!! I'm 11 months out and down 97 lbs and lost 15 inches off my waist alone!! Some days will be hard and there will be times when you have buyers remorse, but believe me it will pass when you see the weight melting off. Just wanted to wish you all good luck on your upcoming surgeries!!
